Tunes you digging right now

I have no explanation, but I woke up on Monday with this song in my head. I feel like it's a very Boneyard tune.

If you just want to cry to somebody
Don't cry to me
No don't cry to me

A haunting tune from a haunting, and great, series: Breaking Bad:

Loving James McMurtry’s latest album:

Hot off the presses, new cover of a song from the 1987 film "Lost Boys." Here done by Chvrches, also being featured in a film (coming next month from Netflix).

That soundtrack was great. Aside from Eddie and the Cruisers, one of the few I've ever bought on CD.

This is a great version of a song you all know...

happy halloween!
learnt this tune from a game of thrones thing (don't care much aboot that...). posted in another place, and then i learnt that she has 5m hit songs, 10m hit songs, 20m hit songs, 50m hit songs, and 100m hit songs.
who knew?
it's a keeper...

Seems like she had one record that was huge (maybe her debut?), then she more or less disappeared.

I was skeptical at first cause the band looks like half the kids I went to highschool with i'm coming around on some of the songs I've heard, sound like a fun band.

Pat Metheny- first heard this one back around 1979 on free form radio, never forgot it:

yes one of my favorite by him, always some how reminds me of a cold snowy winter night or something.

I recently came across this guy, who riffs off classic solos, staying true to the nature of them, but adding his own elements.

In this one he's merged the two solos in Comfortably Numb into one 10+ minute feast for the ears. Unfortunately I take points off for not sticking the ending as Gilmour, despite playing the solo differently in every vid I've seen, always comes back to the same final few bars, so that part was unsatisfying. And no whammy bar for dive bombing. But everything before that ending... well, just listen.

Been listening to these guys since their new album came out a couple of months ago. Kinda southern rockish. Although they are from California.

Every Day - Robert Jon and the Wreck

I have their new album on pre-order and the third track just dropped a few days ago. Really love this pairing (their first album, Raising Sand, was awesome and I still listen to it frequently):

An unexpected pairing, but it worked well.

vibin' in The Park City. good memories...

I watched that set with Chris Frantz. He enjoyed it and was impressed. Cant remember the name of the singer Lotus brought in especially for that performance.
