Tunes you digging right now

I've been off and on with EDM stuff for years. This isn't a new song, but it really jumped out at me on Pandora the other day. The featured singer does some solo stuff, but also collabs w/ a bunch of DJs/producers.

 
obliterating any previous team accomplishments, FAU strides into the tourney as a national darling. what happens? who knows, but as mentioned ages ago, the field stinks, and they're led by a guy who has almost minimal 'stats,' except 'clutch' and top minutes, and so here they are. winning isn't everything, it's the only thing. sumone tell danny.

obviously, no one wants to play them as FAU is playing with house money, while the opponent can only have 'don't choke to them' as their motivation. owls be like 'footloose.' sweeeeeeet.
 
One of the greatest voices on Earth currently. Check out Marlon Willams. He's been likened to Roy, Elvis, and Chris Isaak....but still completely unique sounding. This is a tastefully done 80s inspired piece:

Question: Is Spotify premium worth it? Last year I got a Garmin Forerunner 245 Music watch as a gift so I could listen to tunes when running. Never used it because I didn't have spotify. I listen to Pandora when I'm working but it seems maybe I should switch to Spotify. Looks liket it's $10/month, or $13/month for the Duo, $16/month for family.
 
I just heard this for the first time the other day. It's catchy. I especially like the part of the song where they shout "woot!" You could do worse than Aimee Interrupter

A fun tune written by lead singer Raul Malo and Big Al Anderson (NRBQ). The Mavericks are still one of the great live bands out there....

Stumbled on Rick Beato talking to this guy Tim Henson about how this guitar he's playing came to be. That was pretty cool, but he had Ibanez make this nylon stringed electric, and it just doesn't sound like anything else. His style is just freaking wild as well. I checked the band because I had no idea who they are and was impressed with this. @August_West have you heard of this player?

 
Weathervanes is shaping up to be my favorite Isbell album since Something More Than Free, might even surpass it. I'm loving the 70s vibe of the last couple songs. There is a lot of new interesting territory for Jason on this one, and to be expected, genius lyrics throughout.

 
Been listening to a bunch of Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats recently. Going to see him next month in Bethel, NY as part of Willie's Outlaw Fest along with Gov't Mule +

Every few years I go on a Big Star jag. Oddly I'd never seen this cover until today, but the ladies did a beautiful job (and oddly was performed here in Pgh). The harmonies are so lush it makes me wish they'd taken a stab at Waterloo Sunset.

 
Heard this one recently along with a few of their others on WWUH's "FM on Toast" early morning show. Never heard of Caamp before but liking them now.

Heading up to The Indian Ranch in Webster, MA to see the Mavericks tomorrow. Still can't categorize them... Tex Mex, country, rockabilly, 60's pop, everything in between. But after 30 years, still one of the best shows around.

I've had this song in my head for a few days now. While researching, lead singer Dexter Holland graduated high school valedictorian in 1984 and received a BS in biology, an MS in molecular biology, and a PhD in molecular biology from USC.
