Tulsa looks good up 8 with about a minute to go. I had a crazy thought. With the AAC looking a whole lot better than we thought and the ACC somewhat dissapointing, why doesn't our conference try to steal some of the ACC teams? ;)

Okay, football is a whole different story, but I couldn't help myself.

UCF did well in football too.

SMU still isn't a lock. There's a slim possibility LaTech joins Tulsa in the field, eliminating an at-large. Probably won't happen, but I wouldn't want to be on the "last 4 in" line, where SMU likely currently resides.

I have a hard time believing that. Just that one bracket guy has them as a "Last 4 in." I think they'll go anywhere from 9-12.

Nicely done by Tulsa. Will be interesting to see how they do next year in the AAC. As for SMU, yeah a bad loss to Houston, but they were just ranked 25/23 before that loss. I have a hard time seeing how they are suddenly outside the field of 64.

Tulsa has an entire staff of guys with Kansas connections. It's like Manning grafted onto Phog Allen. I guess that was smart.

USF could take a Howland. A somebody ... dregs don't have to be dregs forever; if the University wants to look to higher Platform with dollars and football. But Seton Hall won't ever be better.
