I'd prefer to think that Geno is giving Crystal playing time before the South Carolina game and at the same time putting pressure on this team to perform when it's clearly beating itself with bad shooting. This is not the worst thing that can happen to a team. Playing Tulsa at home is almost a certain, and what's the point of that? Better to get something out of it by experiencing stress and overcoming it.

Remember when Geno was praying for an ass-kicking? they never got that, but they got this.

putting Kyla in so early is another way for him to mess with the team, like he did last year at Cincinnati....

With Irwin in I would say that Williams is either hurt or in the dog house.

I'm usually among the more pessimistic predictors (I said 92-54 for the game and 49-24 at halftime), and this has been even worse than I expected.

Very disconcerting given the time of year and the caliber of competition.
 
Geno is not a happy camper. And he shouldn't be. Very lackluster first half.

My guess is that's it's their body language. Lou and Gabby look less then thrilled.. Tgeur in court demeanor looks off today.

We gave up too many open threes and a few layups. Plus, we shot poorly.

Pheesa, Saniya, and Kia are playing well.
