 Speechless, imagine that.

I don't have the energy or time to talk about everything that is awful about this team and the coaching. I really don't. I am at a loss for words and this is rare.

This team can't win 20, no way no how. How can people play so crappy when they are so talented?

If the coaches thought during the game I might have game thoughts. Ugly.

Mau when's golf season? Let's get drunk. I'm down to just drink until May.

I'm playing tomorrow 47 degrees in Westerly at Winnapaug LOL

Playing with 3 other Husky fans and I am sure we will be f bombing the hell out of this one, but having a few to assist in overcoming the doldrums caused by this squad.;)

But I'm in for the remainder through May

Treat the ball like its tonight's team and you will be 'driving for show'.

Look we don't have a NBAer on this team right now. That's the bottom line. Dham would not get his weak of in the NBA. He is not athletic enough and not a 3 pt specialist and his handle is weak and predictble. Pound twice behind the back pound pound weak .

While I agree that there might not be an NBA player on this team, that doesn't mean we should be losing to teams like Tulsa, Temple, and a bad Syracuse team this year. Even without an NBA caliber player we are still way too talented of a college team to be playing the way we have been. Coaching has definitely been a huge issue IMO, but even so its inexcusable for guys like Hamilton and Purvis to play the way they did tonight.

Yup, I never said we should have lost. Just making point this team isn't a talented as we thought.

Problem is we only have one really talented player on the team and he is in his biggest funk of his career. If he doesn't get his head out from between his legs this season is over before AB even comes back. Talent wise we don't scare many other teams without DHAM doing anything and AB out.

At least the bookies are catching on ( unlike some here ) they only had us as 1 point favorite tonight. Which I do find sad.... A lot here on Jim Calhoun as this is his hand picked and forced on Warde staff. Now having said that he would have this team running to the airport, get on the plane, land at BDL and run back to campus to practice running some more! The friend of players and constant looks of pain need to be replaced with some snarl and a good dash of growl.

I hate to point this out but if we can lose like that to Tulsa we can lose a lot of the remainder of our games. No way the NIT invites us.

KO is coaching like he is on heavy meds. If he has forgotten how to coach does he have any pride? Things like taking a technical seem so far away from his demeanor right now. Where does all of this patience come from? duck! Get off your ass.

Plenty of college talent to win games I'm not talking NBA obviously. But Purvis, Gibbs, Miller, Ham, Adams, Calhoun, Facey all plenty talented to win - wonder what's missing?

embarrassing. This is just embarrassing. Nothing else to say. This season is looking like a wash. I know it's only January but we are running out of RPI boosters.

Problem is Huskies should have been up 10-12 points with 5 minutes left so that when their guards started playing the game was over. They might be good but they looked dreadful too. Both teams did, one just happened to crap themselves the other just urinated.

Well besides Gibbs our guards were awful. I mean if RP and DHAm play bad together it is hard for us to win.

I was fortunate to have a client meeting so I missed the game and I guess I won't be watching it based on the threads on here. Full disclosure, I had no expectation that they'd win. Putting Ollie to the side for a second - and make no mistake, the bloom is off the rose with him - who's the tough guy on this team? Shabazz was a tough guy. Kemba was a tough guy. These kids all seem like pretty low key, nice kids. Obviously I'm not privy to what goes on in the locker room but playing with toughness, maximum effort, and a "duck you" attitude was a hallmark of UConn basketball. These kids seems soft as cotton. I used to think that every team needs one kid that you wouldn't quite feel safe hanging out with. I don't think that anymore; I've watched enough teams without that kid cut down nets. But good christ if nothing else you've got to play HARD and this right now looks like a program going through the motions. Everything magical about that run in '14 is a distant memory. The program is unrecognizable.

Well doesn't the coach have a lot to do with lighting a fire under his team to play with intensity. It starts with the coach. Though I agree with no RB on this team there is no fighter on it this year.

I'm not exonerating the coach by any means. But these kids are soft and they have to own that too.

Well then that is on KO also as he didn't recruit anybody who was a fighter who could fill RB's shoes. At least with RB on the court I always felt we had a chance when we got down last year. This year I don't.
