Tuesday’s Elite 8 Games

Contested? What were u watching? Tyger was in the spin cycle thinking drive. He was literally backing up.

First, a pullup 3 has a 5-10 point lower shooting percentage than a catch and shoot. Second, with the clock running down and a defender right there, the shot is going to be rushed. It's a harder shot than it looks.

It wasn't contested. The defender was nowhere near him. He was backing up. I never commented on the difficulty of a pullup. Some people will argue anything.

Bye bye Big 10 - you hate to see such an omnipotent league come up short. Clearly, with 2 #1 seeds and 2 #2 seeds, and a #4 seed, the only explanation must be that the tough battles in the league night in night out, took it out of the teams before they got to the big dance. We had a lot of posts with evidence that they were over rated, but, there is no possibility that could have been true. We know they were great because the talking heads said so.

The Big ~10 had their best year possible, seeding wise. The BE had one of our worst. And I know the fact that we won the BET and pulled back into first in tourney wins influences me, but I feel like the BE had a just as good of a year.

UCONN and Nova were probably underseeded. I was expecting another Husky team to win it all. Offense intended. :-)

definitely. his coaching strategy to have michigan miss layups and wide open threes was brilliant
I’m watching these guys shoot 3’s last night and I’m actually thinking “we shoot 3’s better than this!” And that’s not good.
