I just heard an announcer on the NC/SDSU broadcast liken the Alabama State pass to the pass from UConn's Grant Hill to Christian Laettner. This is so heinous that it has to guarantee the three-peat.Equal to Scott Burrell's pass to Tate in execution, but since it's a play-in game and didnt technically end the game, it's a notch below.
He's a human liver spot.Sweat bomb, and Davis appears wayyyyyyyyyyu older than 55ish
Interestingly, Alabama State is 1 hour from Auburn. Will be a fun few days for the part of the country.Alabama St got the ball back on a fluke play. It was a crazy last 3 possessions.
Alabama State’s head coach is an ex-Auburn assistant.Interestingly, Alabama State is 1 hour from Auburn. Will be a fun few days for the part of the country.
HH, the argument wasn’t whether or not UNC was better than any teams. The argument was that UNC’s resume wasn’t good enough to earn a spot in the tournament. So beating up on SDSU really didn’t change the argument.I am loving this entirely predictable destruction of SDSU by UNC. The morons who complained should retire their bracket card. UNC was better than at least 3 if not 4 SEC teams that got in. Xavier was as well. Did Boise belong? Yes. But these fraud SEC teams that lost 12-15 games needed to be out.
And in tonight's 16-seed game, Mount St. Mary's and American are just 60 miles apart. They've played each other 71 times!Interestingly, Alabama State is 1 hour from Auburn. Will be a fun few days for the part of the country.
Same - let’s get the best teams in. The drama around them getting in was such a stupid narrative that was pounded to death by the media.I am loving this entirely predictable destruction of SDSU by UNC. Remember, it will be the Pac 8 next year, not the MWC.Friendly reminder to fade the Mountain West in your bracket every year.
Does it matter? There hasn’t been a NC from west of the Mississippi since the 90s.Remember, it will be the Pac 8 next year, not the MWC.
Don't know if a name change, or the addition of Gonzaga (who has actually done things) will change this.
The MWC folks are complaining about the officiating in the SDSU game. Not that it was one sided, but that the let so much go. I couldn't help but laugh. Big East lets a lot more than that go. West coast basketball is often so soft, so non-contact. There are occasional exceptions.Does it matter? There hasn’t been a NC from west of the Mississippi since the 90s.
Did St. Francis put a big on the inbounder? To throw that ball accurately full court right to a guy was amazing. If there wasn't a man on the inbounder, shame on the coach. As you say, it should never have gotten to that. St. Francis was out of control and sloppy. They should've gotten the last shot or at least gone to OT.The big kid for St Francis playing hero ball lost the game. Rebound off the FT and tries to bring it coast to coast just stupid basketball.
UNC can’t get beat bad enough for me!
Well he did just get an extension, so that's a startI love this result. Hubert keeps doing just enough that Carolina will keep him around. I hope he keeps sneaking in the tournament and wins a game or two each season so they keep him there forever.
You might want to brush up on geography.Does it matter? There hasn’t been a NC from west of the Mississippi since the 90s.
Well, if you count the Mississippi as its watershed, you can say it's true. You might want to brush up on geography.

No. My point was to remember to apply this to a different conference next year.Does it matter? There hasn’t been a NC from west of the Mississippi since the 90s.
Yeah, it should really be the origin point of the Missouri River. Or you could just say not in Eastern or Central Time zone since 1997.You might want to brush up on geography.
There are definitely a few current or ex KPMG auditors in this place. Everyone loves a good auditor. But yes, Kansas and Baylor are west of the Mississippi. Nice catch. You are clearly on Partner track.Yeah, it should really be the origin point of the Missouri River. Or you could just say not in Eastern or Central Time zone since 1997.
Good lord, you suck at geography. Somehow your post got a like from the dude from Kansas.Does it matter? There hasn’t been a NC from west of the Mississippi since the 90s.
I'm actually pretty good at it, just don't overextend myself on details sometimes when making a macro level point. I should, or else it elicits corny responses like this.Good lord, you suck at geography. Somehow your post got a like from the dude from Kansas.
Ahh yes, the macro level point. Of course.I'm actually pretty good at it, just don't overextend myself on details sometimes when making a macro level point. I should, or else it elicits corny responses like this.
Coincidentally, I actually ran on the Mississippi River when in Omaha last summer and curiously tracked origin to mouth during cool down.
