That's cutting it awfully close to the South Carolina game. Wasn't a good sign that she barely played after the first quarter on Saturday.

That had very little to do with her knee. She picked up two quick fouls about three seconds apart and sat for the rest of the first half. In the fourth quarter, Geno let the five bench players have the minutes.

The knee issues for #UConn's Morgan Tuck are same ones she's been dealing with, just a different approach to get her ready for March

"You always get annoyed because you always want to play but this is a good time to be out for two weeks so I am glad it is now and not later on in the season,' Tuck said after Tuesday's practice.

"I'll do cardio every day, either swimming or bike so it is not pounding and still be involved with the team,' Tuck said. "It is not a specific thing you can do, it is more of letting it calm down a little bit
It depends on how it feels. It is like anything, you have to talk to Rosie, if you are in pain, you go to her and talk about it."

I don't give a damn about the regular season won-loss record. I don't give a damn if we lose to S.Carolina or Tulane or SMU or UCF. I don't give a damn if we don't win the AAC Tournament. All that matters is that our girls get healthy because we love them and genuinely care about them for the wonderful young women they are. Oh, and yes, in time to kick ass in Indianapolis.

[I look for Stewie to step up and drop in 30-35 ppg, now that it'll be needed.]

I think if you go back and look at most other UConn blowouts you'll find that Tuck played well over 14 minutes in them regardless of two fouls.

Games in March and April matter more than a game on Feb 8.

Moriah a game-time decision tomorrow night. She fell and hit her knee and head (J Fuller).

Thank goodness it's just UCF tomorrow night!

HR: on a lighter note: Damn I love it when you talk dirty like that (those tiny little letters you used). Plus, it helps clear my mind of MEYERS

Ok, Moriah better be playing too. And we better get 55 wins in a row at barest minimum. And Stewie better use the opportunity to go full steam without the missing superstar Morgan to bolster her case for NPOY awards.

And we better not have any built-in excuses prior to the South Carolina game. Not one. We have three of the five best players in wcbb at least, if not the top three period. We also have seven other kids who are able to contribute. Let's kick some ass and forget some names...on only a temporary basis.

This will undoubtedly give Natalie some more minutes. That part is good. And I can't see Morgan being any worse for a couple of weeks off. She don't rust bad!

Please, make that nine, to be sure to include all players on scholarships.:)

It's time for Lou to take her newfound confidence and start being a consistent threat. And Napheesa had a good outing last game; time to show she's back to stay. Two future All-Americans need to step up.

Yo ZORRO - out loud chuckles here on that one. There are a whole lot of times when you hit the nail pretty much on the head. Wife and I would appreciate a PM on you and family. Greetings to them . Stay well - and thanks for the merriment
