She makes smart plays and takes what the defense gives her.......pretty much the only time she turns the ball over is when she over-penetrates and gets called for the charge. Other than that, she is SOLID!

She is not on the front page but she was awesome. I think this young lady got a very bright future. She did all the small things and was always high energy on defense. Stewart got all the credit, but without players like Tuck and Farris UCONN won't win today.

Morgan unquestionably is a great player - I know that Stewey gets a lot of press, she deserves it of course, and Moriah now, too, but Morgan is the steady, solid player - I love her. If she hadn't had to deal with injuries this year, she may have more visibility to the pundits.

Wait till next year! Heck, wait until the championship game!!!

Yes, her demeanor, skill, and strength combined bring a calming effect on her teammates.
Hey, seeing her playing in a game like this calmed me down. She is a calm, cool, and collected player.

Oh she's sung, she's so sung. She played key minutes for us and had an impact on the flow of game. I love her! She'll only get better.

Absolutely agree. Her self-possession and calmness tonight were far beyond what one would expect from a freshman.

Isn't it interesting how Moriah had an amazing game against Kentucky in the previous game, and Morgan was outstanding tonight? Breanna was great in both games. The freshmen are all living up to their preseason press releases at the best possible time of the year.

I can't help but think ahead to 2014-15, when (as things are shaping up) UConn will have a plethora of great guards, but a rather thin front court. But at least the bigs we have will be really good, including KML, Stewart, and Tuck. Hopefully Kiah will become the center that we all believe she can be by then.

Just got home from the game! As I stated earlier, let's give a vote of thanks that ND prevailed vs Duke. Sooo much more satisfying beating them, and watching Skylar's dejection post-game. I agree that Morgan was great, but I have to say that from an on-site perspective, Stewie was our real star tonight. She's come full circle, is as tough as one could want, and she kept putting in daggers that made the difference. Additionally, her rebounding was pretty awesome. All three Frosh were sensational...I thought Mo deserved more minutes, but who knows better than the coach? What a night!!!

Odd, I actually came away from the game--and the post-game--with newfound respect for Skylar. Respect and admire the way she comported herself. And I do agree with Geno: she is, has been, and will be good for women's basketball. Guess that was hard to see through the seven losses.

I was just going to say if Kiah had the mindset of Morgan, I can't even imagine how good she would be. I'm hopeful that she finds herself because she has some serious skills herself!

Yep, Morgan was calm, smooth, and solid. Nice game, especially for a frosh.

Morgan is mature beyond her years. Stewie deserves all the press she got due to her scoring, but Tuck's game reminds me a bit of Faris at this point (she's not as athletic of course) but Tuck does a lot of the blue collar dirty work that is overlooked in the stat sheet, but not overlooked by savvy fans or the coaches who obviously trust her by playing her 26 minutes in the game.

In my head, Tuck's nickname is the "Rock." With her poise and with her frame, it seems fitting. Sadly it may bring up images of a certain professional wrestler with that name. :)

Morgan makes me think of Asjha, except about a year ahead.
Possibly even two years ahead...and I love Asjha.

If this team can stay healthy next year, my God will they be stacked. Kelly is a huge loss, but UConn will be absolutely nasty from Player 1 to Player 9.
