There is a reason Joe Cox started at UGA 5 years ago while Aaron Murray saved his red shirt. Same reason why Tyronne Swoops is still red shirting this year at Texas.

The experience Boyle gets this year, for better or worse, will have him ready to play sooner than if he sits out. I am willing to trade a Tim Boyle that has experience next year and can lead us to a Bowl game for a year on the back end of that. We need to get there first, before we start worrying about 5 years from now.
