Just saw a tweet that 6-8 Troy Baxter was released from his commitment from South Florida today. I'm not sure why he wants to decommit but interesting. Eligible for 2016.

A four-star recruit, Baxter's absence essentially coincides with reports in July indicating the Bulls men's basketball program was being investigated by the NCAA for possible academic fraud. Assistant Oliver Antigua resigned the same day the reports surfaced.

He's like Josh Jackson in the respect that he could play minutes at the 4. There's definitely room for him if he has interest, but no doubt there's more PT out there, albeit in worse programs.

Anyone have an idea of his current size? On one site, I saw 6' 7" and 185 lbs and he was listed as a PF on some and a SF on others.

Assuming your referring to the tweet posted above, that tweet was from May 1st the day he committed to USF. It was posted to show we were on his final list of schools when he made his decision, of course it doesn't mean we're involved this time either.
