What are you talking about? I don't see any confirmation in this thread. Is that the comment that Newton made in the Alleyne twitter thread about frying him next year and people are assuming it is playing against each other in the Big East?

On a post Alleyne made about committing to St John’s, a conference foe.

What do you think Newton was referring to? Frying him in Scrabble?

I don't understand all of the angst about Alleyne leaving. Doesn't NA mean NOT APPLICABLE?
 
Newton needs to clean up his handle. But with a year under his belt in the conference, I think he will get more respect from the refs and become even more effective on the offensive end.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Newton get good minutes at the 1 and 2. Castle didn’t come here to be a backup.

I'd assume for the most part Tristan slides over to the 2 and they let Castle play the 1.

Will be interesting to see how that plays out. Newton played a lot better on ball than off ball last year and then Hurley told Castle he’d be the PG.

If Andre comes back I’d figure Timberlake would be the natural fit at Hawkins spot. So it’ll all just be interesting to see how that plays out.
