Kid is already legendary down there. Had 13 rebounds last game against Kentucky.

Yea but the board was way more worried about why CV wasn't being considered a potential AAC PoTY dark horse in an ESPN article this season over our obvious as day recruiting woes!

Ha, that's a reach. I'm a Jalen fan but Waters is just on a whole different level. Kid is really really special.

Meanwhile Kris Dunn had 32 pts., 9 assists, and 4 steals in a win last night. It would be nice if we could get some of these Connecticut kids.

Lololol, thank goodness I didn't have to witness those posts. Wade has LSU looking really tough, just 13 games after winning ONE SEC game last year. Coaching makes all the difference in CBB.

To equate this kid with Paul Pierce as in the title is crazy!!!! (I know - wasn't meant to be)
But what Waters did was impressive as what JA did in Hawaii last year was much more impressive - however, what JA did today is not good at all

Scared of JA, AG and CV? that's stupid talk - what Waters and his father wanted was the keys to the car and KO wasn't going to yank those away from JA and AG - and that is understandable to the sane

For the record because I don't know how much of a bubble some UConn fans are, but a "More You Know" for whomever: Trae Young is leading the country in scoring, and he's the same distance from #2 as #2 is to #28.

Oh and he's also leading the country in assists by over a full assist per game and will be the first college player to average over 10 assists per game in over 20 years.

And he's a freshman who was the same composite recruiting rank as Jalen Adams.

To put it another way, he's responsible for 35% more of his team's assists than Marcus Williams in '06 and scoring 25% more points than 2011 Kemba Walker.

Do you realize how ridiculous it was to not give him the keys? Jalen is a combo guard, Alterique has a busted shoulder, and Waters is way better than both of them.
