None, he’s planning to attend St. John’s. He’s just trying to get feedback from the NBA.What chance he gets drafted?

What’d he say? Trillys UConn info isn’t great, he’s been quite a few times with UConn related things. It's about Karaban. It's Super Bowl worthy stuff in the UConn private chat.
No it's not trilly. someone has some wild intel in the chat. What’d he say? Trillys UConn info isn’t great, he’s been quite a few times with UConn related things.
It's not any info, it's a guy at a wedding with Tom Moore live posting everything he seesWhat’d he say? Trillys UConn info isn’t great, he’s been quite a few times with UConn related things.
The kid is really good and would be great in UConn's system, but I think the Huskies are already pretty stacked at the 2 and 3 positions so I wonder if the staff reached out but didn't pursue him that hard or he just wasn't interested in UConn. They have other more pressing needs so not a big deal.Ouch... want this kid

Valid
Cochran to URI. Love this pickup:The following schools have checked in on Tyler Cochran (@captaintc23) he tells TPR: USF Rhode Island UConn New Mexico College of Charleston
Tyler Cochran 6'3 225. Older player [2 years at Northern Illinois, 1 year at Ball State, 2 years at Toledo, transferred to Minnesota but never played after off-season foot surgery]. His last year at Toledo he was Second Team All MAC and the Co-Defensive Player of the Year. He averaged 14 ppg, 6 boards, 2 assists. Based on his list of other schools seems like hopefully we could get him here as a role player. Personally, I love the idea of a bigger, defensive, veteran guard as an option off the bench.
Will be 26 by the end of next season lol

At this point how you see them matching up on paper by position? Just curious as a SJU fan. This years SJU team entirely different from last years. Can’t even scout last year for both teams. Curious on breakdown? He does. Have to say I am pretty impressed with what he has done in creating three completely different teams in three straight years. Upgraded talent each year, with barely a holdover year-to-year.
Their 8 man rotation right now is a good fit on paper with Zuby, Hopkins, Mitchell and Prey up front and Jackson, Sanon, Sellers and Darling in the backcourt.
That should be a top 3 team. I do like how UConn potentially matches up though.
There was a lot of pearl-clutching when he didn't commit to UConn. Lamentations about Hurley tragically not being able to get/retain high-level local talent.
Turns out maybe we knew what we were looking at and made a shrewd recruiting decision. Didn't deter Donovan from coming here.
This one went quiet for a while but looks like Aidan found a home
I don't think that's the case here though, IIRC we backed off pretty early which is why posters were upsetI'm not so sure about this interpretation of events. Sometimes it's a fortuitous recruiting miss, and the player doesn't live up to their billing. :cough: Timberlake :cough:
That's possible. It's also possible the disinterest was mutual. I had a source in the Griffiths camp at the time and I don't think he gelled with Luke for whatever reason. It happens.I don't think that's the case here though, IIRC we backed off pretty early which is why posters were upset
I heard he was leaning to Florida with UNC have an outside shot.Head scratcher- Stumbled on a SportsGrid article predicting landing spots for Top 35 remaining uncommitted portal entrants. Has Desmond Claude at#7-- Prediction-UConn.. I just don't see it. Article released in last 5 hours or so.
Yeah, I have seen nothing potentially tieing him to UConn, and not sure he doesn't still hold a grudge for not recruiting him out of HS. Regardless, I can't see Hurley looking at him after we picked up Demary and Smith.I heard he was leaning to Florida with UNC have an outside shot.
