Curious to know why a player would simply follow a coach rather than test the market. If you're going to transfer and are hitting the portal, why not at least test your market value?

In some cases, players may really value the relationship and investment with their coach. Especially if they have NBA potential futures.

Not sure if that’s the case as much with Dent, but yeah.

Sometimes they do. But often they can test and coach can get new school to match the offers. Tiebreak goes to keeping same system and coach.

Based on what we’ve seen with past freshman here, I seriously doubt Furphy will be in the rotation.

I wouldn’t even be surprised if Adams isn’t a big part of the rotation. Realistically, I only see Mullins and Reibe getting solid minutes next year and that’s if we don’t recruit over neither in the portal.

Isn’t Bowen the jumbo wing at 6’10 190? I think he’s the perfect fit since he can start at either forward spot depending on whether AK comes back.

Otherwise that’s quite a wishlist. I’d be ecstatic with Bowen and Dent and an average sized backup PG.
