Tarris Reed can be an NBA player. If you don’t have an NBA profile, you’re going to take being developed over a materially larger senior year NIL?

Who is the last player of his profile drafted?Tarris Reed can be an NBA player.
I don’t think he can be a high level player. But a rotation player nonetheless if he is coached right.Who is the last player of his profile drafted?

I can't believe this dude still has eligibility left, feels like he's been in school for a decade
Hasn't been good at the power conference level at multiple spots, even in his best year at Cal he was sub .400 from the field and sub .300 from 3.Isn't this dude kinda what we need? A tall, experienced PG that can score and dish? The 3.5+ TO's a game is bad, but maybe Danny can coach it out of him. I admit that I haven't seen him play, so I have no idea about his D either. But he checks a couple of the boxes.
You said the days are dead. Implying that freshman used to do that. The guys you mentioned finished their careers 20 years ago. It’s a different universe now. It’s entirely possible we will add a stud portal guy for next year who takes an incoming freshmen’s minutes. The new landscape is to take the best possible player at all time. It sounds terrible but Being loyal is a dangerous thing. I mean in retrospect, would Brea have looked nice coming off the bench and giving you 8-10/gm if it meant a bench guy left then who is likely to portal now anyway?
Make the rotation?? We need a starting PG and starting PF.
Transfer / Ball / Mullins / Transfer / Reed
Adams / Ross / Furphy / Stew / Reibe
Andre Drummond?Comp in today’s NBA?
You thinking more of a rotational big? If Alex ends up leaving for the NBA, could see them looking at a swing 4/5 big man as well. People seem high on Reibe but it can be hard to just pencil in a freshman big man for 15-20 min a game, defensively they can get eaten alive. Might be good to have that too.The one thing we know we definitely need right now is a starting PG. A high-level shot creator (and maker) like Tristen or Jalen Adams more than a game manager like Hassan/Taliek.
We'll know more beyond that tomorrow, but my guess is we'll be going after a big as well.
I think Jason would do great here.Well UConn did recruit Sanon out of high school and Hurley will get all the information he needs to evaluate Sanon from his brother.
Only downside? The Boneyard would butcher his name.![]()
Fans criticizing athletes over money without understanding any of the context is equally wild. It’s amazing how easy it is to turn down life changing money when it actually isn’t being offered to you. Once again, you have no idea what you are talking about.Taking a bag over getting developed by Tom Moore is pretty wild considering Tom’s track record.
It begins. Will Hurley do his usual and only look at a small group, or will he entertain a wider net?
Yeah, because he's had so little success with the approach he's used.It begins. Will Hurley do his usual and only look at a small group, or will he entertain a wider net?
I’m mean mahaney was the only issue and he grew loads this last month.Yeah, because he's had so little success with the approach he's used.
It's myopic. It says that another staff cannot develop, it says that money shouldn't matter.Fans criticizing athletes over money without understanding any of the context is equally wild. All years are not equal. They have more time this year, they fell short in portal last year. I'm not questioning how he did in the past, I'm wondering if given the needs and misses that they explore a wider net. It's ok to question yeah know, without getting all defensive.Yeah, because he's had so little success with the approach he's used.
I think it’s coming from a belief in this staff that they can develop better than other staffs, not that other staffs can’t develop. I know we’ve had these debates on the BY ad neuseum. At the end of the day, it boils down to what the individual recruit wants, believes, and matters to them. And staffs can sell them on their relative merits. It's myopic. It says that another staff cannot develop, it says that money shouldn't matter.
