2023 Hass was not very good so I’m not sure what you’re talking about. There’s a reason he played 4 total minutes in the final four. Obviously much better in 24.This is good info - seems like there needs a bit of a connection for someone to commit to potentially reduced minutes. What we really need now is a Hass from three years ago , he was a special get in that for both title seasons he provided backup minutes with starter-like skills. Hass committed before Newton, but they were right around each other, so Hass knew the possibility was there that he'd be a backup. Need a quality PG that will take that reduced role, but wants to be a Husky.
I agree on Cadeau, but Morez Johnson is really really good. He's one of the best guys in the portal. They still need to add more but those 3 transfers along with Trey McKenney who's a top 20 recruit and Roddy Gayle coming back is a nice core
Michigan reloading the frontcourt with Goldin graduating and getting replaced by Illinois transfer Morez Johnson and the addition of Lendeborg makes me think Wolf to the NBA is a sure thing.
Why isn't this dude at the top of our board? Elite motor/wingspan. Good (not great) shooter. Good (not great) passer. P5 starting 4 man - can moonlight at the 5 if we need. Also looks to be the kind of balloon knot Hurley's been looking for to light a fire under these kids in the locker room. Downsides seem similar to AK's downsides - plays below the rim and not a lot of lateral quickness. Think he could step in and start if AK leaves - or be backup 4/5 if he doesn't. Don't get why Monroe is a higher priority than this Hansberry kid. Assuming they've done their homework on him? Any ideas
I watched the bama game with my kids the other day, Hass played more than that in just the last 5 minutes of the game….''i

Eh. None of these 4 teams were even top 40 in transfer portal rankings last year.I didn’t notice it so much last year when we were preparing for the final 4 but following 74 pages of this thread while 4 teams are still playing emphasizes just how much of a disadvantage schools that go far in the tournament are at for filling out their 25-26 roster in the portal.
We played Bama and Purdue in 24 and Hass was essential. Original post talked about how good Hass was from the start. He wasn’t. We played Miami and SDST in 23 and Hass was basically out of the rotation.I watched the bama game with my kids the other day, Hass played more than that in just the last 5 minutes of the game….
I absolutely agree about continuity but at best you still typically have a few holes to fill. Also, I think both Florida and Auburn are set to lose most of their major contributors, aren’t they?Eh. None of these 4 teams were even top 40 in transfer portal rankings last year.
The year before NC State shows up in the top 10 as the Cinderella. After that Alabama doesn’t show up until 41.
Continuity is important at the end of the day.

Xaivian Lee (Princeton Sr, 6'4", 180#). May be one of the best PGs left in the portal. I'm sure he's looking for starters' minutes. Kentucky & UNC seem to be interested. But KY just got Lowe from Pitt.
Would be a heck of 10-15min backup PG/SG/Combo for a certain Blue Blood.

He's been around forever it seems
I agree I hope Robert Wright III drops
Covid year , injury yearHow is he getting a 6th year? Three at Arizona, one at WVU, one at Kentucky, and now at Cincy? Was there a redshirt year in there somewhere?
