Given the fact Keyshawn Paul was excited after being granted the honor of wearing #6 this season, his is an interesting departure.

It certainly begs the question as to why he was granted the honor, unless the off field issue Exit 4 referenced came later and became the reason for leaving.

With Paul and King leaving, looks to be another young group in the secondary. seems to be a perpetual cycle of freshman and sophomores that’ll continue to play for us which we know is not a good thing.

Rob King planning on being a Grad Transfer:

Geesh. We gotta build some veteran leadership on the back end of our D. Can't keep losing kids that are halfway and more developed.

The transfer floodgate has opened at the time one is normally focused with football on the field. The wisdom of not playing football and the mounting casualties behind that move is playing out as Chief feared. You just can’t have The Grind since 7/1 and the perception no one is fighting for you. Maybe it’s time for older coaches, who may feel medically vulnerable, to retire or take sabbaticals?

More concerned about putting pressure on opposing Qbs. Edsall historically had very good DEs. Need that position group to advance the most. Teams were often double teaming the tackles because they could afford it.

Good point. A strong DL that can pressure a QB can mask an inexperience secondary. I think next year we'll see a stark improvement on the line

Why does the website list King as "Did not see field" in 2019? Didn't he play last year? What am I missing?

I think the incoming talent is at a higher level than the outgoing talent. I wish Rob well
