This is not speculation - just posting twitter feeds and/or anything reported by mainstream media.

Robert Holmes and Nino Leone have also entered the transfer portal.

This is the new normal. Unfortunately, there will be more kids in the portal than available FBS scholarships.

UConn finished the season on Saturday and kids entered the portal after the season is over. You will see kids from other schools enter the portal after their seasons are over, which may be after a bowl or the playoff.

Once you enter the portal, it doesn't mean that you have to transfer, but most likely you are. Also, it means that the school doesn't have to honor your scholarship anymore or provide support to you.

Just to put everything in perspective, here are the current portal kids from some other schools:

Akron 8
Rutgers 8
Ole Miss 7
UMass 7
Arizona St. 6
Miami 6
Michigan St. 6
Ball St. 5
Florida 5
South Carolina 5
UConn 5
Arizona 4
Arkansas 4
Florida St. 4
Maryland 4
Oklahoma 4
Oregon St. 4
VT 4
West Virginia 4

@UConnJim good prospective info on the portal so far....but we are probably just getting started here and same with the other schools. I would expect at least another 3 to 5 kids....but happy to be wrong.

The two lineman can probably find a better team. Not sure if the other three can attract any interest just based on their lack of performance or playing time.

I would think that FCS schools would be all over a couple of them as Hahn is a good special teams player and can play at that level.
Graham and Garson can also play at that level and will probably go back towards their home.
Holmes and Leone will get picked up by a lower FBS team and Holmes may end up playing at a Florida school like FIU.

I want to thank all of them and wish them well wherever they end up

From the tweet:

"Attempting to confirm this as a single day record but feel pretty safe saying it’s an all time one day day high."

I'm officially confused.

Absolutely have to view this as an opportunity. Go get these guys (some of them). Randy has to get off his soapbox and use the opportunity for some of these guys to play more to bring them in.

Add another one - Stanley Hubbard - C/OL

Not good. Why are all our offensive linemen leaving? Something was going on this past season.
Too early to say. Got to get some distance on these events...and to wait for all the news to come in.

Before the portal era there was plenty of transfer and other early exit activity. In any given off season UConn would see 2-5 kids exit early for a host of reasons.

Now the backups are leaving. I thought Hubbard and Nieds did ok for a little while at Temple. Certainly no worse than the leaving starters.

We are in trouble on the OL. If my counts are correct, we are losing 7 OL this year: 2 RSo, 3 RJr, and 2 RSr. That leaves us with 7 scholarship OL and 1 walk-on. We are going to need 3 Grad transfers or JUCOs.

Wasn’t one of the arguments about canning Edsall that players would leave? This is a completely normal thing now for all FBS teams - players enter the portal.
I am extremely concerned about the Oline next year.

This is my biggest worry. If your OL is screwed, your team is screwed. And I'm tired of being screwed...
