Perfect fit for Cohen, who I've watched twice live when he played at Sacred Heart.

Trayce Jackson-Davis-esque on the offensive end in his ability to score under the basket and facilitate from the elbow. I expect a lot of juicy Cohen to Cross kick outs next season.

Averaged 21.8p, 8.3r, 2.5a and 58.5 FG% in his junior season. Two years eligibility remaining.

Should be plenty of shots available as they will have a 3 man roster at this point.

Kinda shocked that Krisa chose West Virginia...? Assumed he was headed to Xavier.

WVU could have Jose Perez and Krisa in the backcourt next year? Solid.

Creighton has a big nil budget too. So they must’ve decided he wasn’t worth whatever he’s going to get. Wouldn’t be surprised if they land a big fish in the portal to replace him.

…and maybe McDermott thinks it was a foul
An underrated aspect of the portal is going to be when coaches say "You're not worth this much, good luck finding it somewhere else." I'm sure its happening already.

I don't know much about Michigan basketball, but I do know that Jackson was not a good fit for Seton Hall under Holloway: Jackson is basically a bigger version of Tyler Polley...a 6'10 215 stretch-four who connected 37.5% from three but lacks in other aspects.

He'll be a nice bench piece for Howard.

Towson Nick Timberlake coming next Friday 6’4” guard 41% from 3. Considering North Carolina and now us I guess. He just added that visit today.

Points over replacement per adjusted game at that usage.

It's a Torvik thing.

None of the schools are putting up any of this money. I keep seeing X school has a good NIL budget, but it's all third parties, donors, boosters. The schools can't do it. At best they can introduce players to those who can.

NCAA is going to come down on this stuff in recruiting. They will do their best to allow NIL but not allow it as an inducement to sign with a school out of HS or as a transfer. Charlie Baker is already talking about it, and I think the coaches and schools mostly want to get it under control.

He's visited UNC and is visiting Kansas and us next week.
From JC’s hometown, having 5 NC’s in 24 years, ranked #1 for next year, a spot for him and a likely offer-how can he not become a Husky?!?!

No idea who the leader is here but seems like we have a pretty good chance of playing against him

Wonderful passer and a boatload of creativity out of the 6’6 point guard.

All Big East teams are nice fits with Nembhard/Bynum in the portal and Boum out of eligibility.

Can pretty much expect that at least one current champion(s) will be running it back…
I wonder if Hurley and staff are going after Damian Dunn's former Temple teammate, Khalif Battle. Would this be a good pickup and someone for Jaylin Stewart to be the back up to?

It sure does and it hurts their fanbase. While doing my relaxing bedtime reading last night I was reading the BoneYard and then I topped it off by reading the BlueJay Underground (start at p25):

It sucks for Creighton for sure, but it sucks for the Big East as well. Hopefully Creighton can replace him with someone better.

Or instead, hopefully creighton tanks and stinks next year and I’m very happy

Super versatile defender and a solid stretch 4.

Crap, with Cooley at Georgetown am I actually going to like this Providence squad? Feels weird, but like Georgetown and St. John’s seem like the new villains now.

Nothing but love. Some times we love them and sometimes we love to hate them.

English will have to show the ability to recruit more than just his former players. Are they running out of spots?

With the way teams have a full exodus after hiring a new coach, he should get a bunch of credit keeping Hopkins, Carter and their best ‘23 recruit on board.

Welp, I guess this thread will get busy soon…

I agree - but could Hopkins and carter been influenced by already using their transfer? As opposed to risking getting another waiver. I think English will do well there regardless.
