So I finally got around to calculating the numbers. The table below shows the percentages of Players Minutes and Player Efficiency (PE) for most impacted teams and for all conferences.
The quality of players in the portal is more important than the quantity.
Small quantity, Large quality.
- Maine has 1 player which equal 18.9% of Mins and 14.7% of PE.
- Wagner has 2 players which equal 28.4% of Mins and 25.7% of PE.
- Bucknell has 3 players which equal 43.1% of Mins and 50.8% of PE.
- Northeastern has 4 players which equal 60.6% of Mins and 63.7% of PE.
Large quantity, Small quality.
- West Virginia has 5 players which equal 4.1% of Mins and 3.6% of PE.
- Wichita St. has 6 players which equal 9.4% of Mins and 9.3% of PE.
- UNLV has 7 players which equal 18.1% of Mins and 15.1% of PE.
One of the concerns is that the best player's are leaving to join the better teams, where this is true I would expect the Portal % PE to be higher than the Portal % Mins.

Note: 48 of the 963 players (5%) need to be reconciled, players don't match to rosters as per NCAA Stats website.
