Haven't seen it yet but surprised at the relatively good reviews it's gotten. 7.1 on IMDB (solid for a comedy), 85% on Rotten Tomatoes, and a 75 on Metacritic. Has anyone here seen it?

I'm generally not intrigued by movies that star comedians. I am, however, a fan of Schumer in general so given the reviews I think I'll see it eventually.

Each time we see a trailer we laugh. Small screen material, tho.

Have not seen but a reliable friend just posted on Facebook moments ago that it's incredibly funny throughout.

saw it last night. not a knee-slapper and a touch long but high quality comedy all throughout. worth a visit to the theater

mets1090 thought the thread title was leading into a discussion about the Mets offense.

Sorry had to, all in fun ;)

To be fair, the Mets offense isn't really a Trainwreck. I generally prefer to look away.

.-.
The movie? Or our crappy attempt at wit with regards to the Mets offense?

The movie. Easily the best thing in the theaters so far this summer.

I'm basically prepping to deploy to Afghanistan in Fort Bliss right now. And since I am overprepared and I am just waiting around to draw equipment and fly, I have been going to movies.

Pixel is not as bad as reviewed. I just think everyone hates Sandler right now. But it's a DVD movie...

Terminator was OK, but ruined by the dude who plays Kyle Reese.

Ant Man was unmemorable, standard Marvel fare. At some point it's the same story with different notable actors and costumes... kind of getting boring now.

Be safe Zoo!

And Jurassic World was very entertaining. Chris Pratt was in Patrick Swayze mode.

Yeah I think the Superhero bubble is going to burst relatively soon. The average fan will probably start to find it all repetitive. I'm a nerd so I still enjoy them but I can see how the general population wouldn't really care. At least in Infinity Wars Part I the heroes should lose at the end which will hopefully breathe life back into it.

Thanks. I thought Pratt should have been funnier.

I like big stomping robots and mechs. I could go for a Mechwarrior movie. Just pure entertainment.

Nobody doesn't like big stomping robots.

Wife and I saw Trainwreck a week or so ago. Both found it very funny. Wife thought it was the funniest thing she's seen in years.

Really good, really funny. Lebron was awesome. Only negative was that I felt it went about 15, 20 min too long.
