One point game as the clock winds down and Dawn can't be happy with her team's shot selection.
 
2 pt game at 1:30 in the 4th. I can’t fathom why they didn’t blow MD off the court from the start.

Maryland gonna smoke away a golden opportunity to win because they have zero idea how to defend in transition. So many layups given up because they're loafing back and not getting matched up with anyone.
 
I know it was basically over, but down 6, with <10 seconds left, no timeouts, you throw it in for the 2? You're better off pulling up from half court...

Maryland had their chances that's for sure. While sad to see Te'Biasu's career come to an end, glad she got a chance to shine at this level. She represented her home province very well.

Maybe, but I see it more as a consistency issue for them. When they play how Coach Staley wants, they're scary. It was evident on Coach Stanley's face that they weren't executing anywhere close to what she wanted.

She’s small but she’s a dawg. (In case you didn’t pick up on it from her half time interview ;))

She’s flashed some eye popping potential this year, seemed to really be coming on earlier and then injured her thumb in practice and missed a few games mid season. Struggled to find her groove when she returned but hopefully is coming into her own just in time.

She needs to sure up her handle, but she has a really nice shot. I think her and Zoe will make a nice duo over the next 2 years in the backcourt.

I know that folks will point to Zoe Brooks' point total in the 4th to rate her overall performance, but it doesn't seem like decision making is her strong suit. She made several questionable decisions in a row that led to LSU grabbing the lead back. I can't imagine that NC State fans enjoyed watching her choke the game away like that. Where were the senior guards? Where was Wes Moore?
