We are all rooting for Northwestern, right? They suck. Who wouldn't want to play Northwestern in the second round?
That and I'd prefer the team that isn't returning just about everyone from a Final Four squad.

Live, at game speed, with the defender coming from behind, I don't think any ref could see that he only touched the ball and not the arm.

PFs were 21 each. It wasn't called favorably for Kansas overall. My comparison to the way PC/St. Johns games are often called against us stands. Aggressive on ball defensive teams that live off of steals get away with a lot of stuff and Samford did.
If a ref wasnt in position to see a clean block then he wouldn’t be in position to see body contact or getting a piece of the arm or hand ( which neither was close to happening)
So riddle me this joker , what was the ref in position to see?

You think they see all the fouls they call? They're guessing a lot of the time. All those head snaps guys use, selling contact. Timberlake didn't even sell anything it was just the way the play went it looked like he was fouled in real time. So that's what they called. It's not complicated. It's not a conspiracy.

It's amazing that every drunk person in the bar could see in live action he wasn't touched yet the refs and HuskyHawk couldn't see it.

Weird tie-up call in NW-FAU just now. Clear block and out of the offensive player's hands, yet was called a tie-up.

It was close.

Ref might've been right, but usually they wont blow the whistle on that

They’ve been calling tie-ups super quick i’ve noticed. Couple specifically in our Marquette game too.

How on earth did this Northwestern team beat Purdue and Illinois? They look like a team that would struggle with Georgetown.
2 of their starters are out: Ty Berry and Matthew Nicholson.

Both teams are playing so ugly ! Less than 20 at the half for NW.

I know people make superlative statements way too often, but I am not going out on a limb when I say this is one of the worst basketball games I have ever seen in the NCAA Tournament.

Switching over to Baylor vs. Syracuse's nemesis Colgate. It is impossible to be worse than what I was just watching.

These teams are fine. They both were clearly nervous. Everyone looks bad when the shots don’t go in, and they are a combined 3-21 from 3. If someone who didn’t know better watched the first 10 minutes of the Big East championship game they would think UConn and Marquette suck.

So they gave Northwestern a bid when they were clearly a bubble team and were not getting back one of their best players? Awesome.
I didn't even realize this. That makes it that much worse. Honestly they shouldn't have gotten in regardless, but now knowing this, it's even more clear that they only got in for being P2.

You can explain the missed shots that way but not the turnovers. Some of the decision-making has been brutal.

Shaka and the boys have a good lane to the final Four. I really like that team and their culture and their fanbase. The most I've ever liked a team in our own conference. Let's show the committee the big east is a beast
