Kentucky has played terrible defense all season. Why did anyone think they could even make the Sweet 16?

The committee thought they deserved a 3 seed over SEC champion Auburn.

Marquette looks like they are playing at the local YMCA, while Western Kentucky is totally locked in and outhustling the Golden Eagles at every turn.

And how is Western Kentucky a #15 seed while McNeese St. was a #12 seed? Once again totally obvious that the committee watched a few SEC, Big10 and Big12 games and called it a day. Lazy, entitled bureaucrats.

Western Kentucky looks like a real basketball team while McNeese St. looked like a pee-wee team compared to Gonzaga... and played like one too.

Kolek has been making the right plays going to the basket and forcing the defense to collapse, but Marquette isn't making the open 3s from this.

One of the reasons he should take those wide open looks at the rim instead of kicking everything. He’s passed up several looks where no one was contesting at all.

A high level program like Marquette has to be able to shoot 50% from 3 when they are THAT open. You can't leave players that open in a high school game and get away with it, yet WKU is not even defending the perimeter and Marquette is just throwing rocks at the basket.
