Remember this is a process and it's all about March so when we see positive changes like the emergence of KK, it's one less thing that we need to have happen before the Big Dance. Anyway, we all know what's on our minds so here are my top 3 things:

1) Paige, if appropriate.

2) Another piston firing after KK's two great games, such as Morgan or Jana to have breakout games.

3) I really liked the way Q played against Nova so I would like to see more of her and Allie.

If Paige plays great, if not let's all step up. What are yours?

1. Paige sits out even if cleared by Drs.
2. Jana and Ice continue more effective offense and defense, dominating in the post
3. UConn starts out like a house on fire causing a big lead going into halftime and continue hot even when subs come in

1: Focused effective aggression.

If that happens I’ll probably get everything I want. Everyone getting quality minutes building for the end of season

I am going to assume Paige will not play against Xavier.

1. Keep the defense/ pressure defense going.
2. Attack both ends of the floor.
3. KK with another big game, Jana with another good game & Ash continues to hit her shots.

.-.
1) Paige with a clipboard, even if cleared to play - opening up 25 - 30 minutes for the youngsters, and KK to start;
2) Ash lights the X-women up for 25+ points, and all starters 3 pts above their average;
3) high % for all (55% FG, 45% 3pt shots, 92% for the stripe) and effective pressure defense (hold them {X-women} 10 pts below their team average).

Here is some (hopefully) good news. Paige posted on her Instagram account from Madison Square Garden this evening showing the scoreboard at the end of the third quarter, Orlando up 75-68.

Why would she be there? Possibly because she is friends with Magic guard Jalen Suggs from when they were kids. Also NIL, there is another post of her giving out phones for Verizon. She might be in their sky box. Everything seems normal, a very brief clip of her walking and she looks ok.

Draw your own conclusions, but these seem like good signs to me.

I’m also assuming the team had today off, which would be typical.

1. Azzi does need to get going at some point.
2. This is another team you would hope Jana and Ice could dominate.
3. Look for lots of minutes for Cheli, Q, and Allie.

Xavier is one of the worst teams in division 1. I think the worst team we have played this season. (Maybe Boston?)

.-.
  1. Azzi
  2. Azzi
  3. Azzi
And I’m assuming Paige will play limited minutes.
This is the next piston firing we really need but as Kara Wolters said, she appears to be tentative so let's see what unfolds.

What I usually post:

1. Keep pressing on defense
2. Play a full 40 minutes
3. For Chen to stop picking up her dribble w/no idea what she's going to do w/the ball. I want her to start driving and shooting more.
(#3 is new)

1. Paige sits out even if cleared by Drs.
2. Jana and Ice continue more effective offense and defense, dominating in the post
3. UConn starts out like a house on fire causing a big lead going into halftime and continue hot even when subs come in
Why in the world would you want that!!!?

I don't think she'll be ready to play, but why IF she can play would you not want her to? That's ridiculous!

As for me?
1. Love to see Bueckers play if she can. I think she's gonna be out a few weeks, but hopefully I'm wrong.
2. Fudd get it rolling again
3. Just destroy Xavier, they are a really poor team.

meyers7- - - I'm just using extreme caution!
With all the injuries UConn has dealt with for the past 3 years it would be horrible for Paige to push it!
She's already scared to death that her UConn career was over as she grabbed her left/bad knee!
Let her have some more practice days to mentally get over the incident!

.-.
1. Brady and El Alfy on an upward trajectory
2. Aubrey in uniform on the bench
3. no more injuries

Last and definitely not least, Cincinnati chile for supper!

1. Paige with some prudent R & R.
2. Sarah and Azzi to divide up the buckets that
Paige would have contributed. Ash and KK can help here!
3. Geno to have a further clarification of what will
be the basic and extended rotations for the
Huskies, e.g. Aubrey (in the future), and ______?
Fill in the blank with your favorite !!!!

Obviously, no injuries and a big win....
1. Azzi back on track and Kaitlyn channeling her best Princeton self
2. Jana double-double
3. Lots of effective Allie, Q and Morgan minutes

Boston is rated lower than Xavier by Massey, 264 to 245.

1. Play safe, no more injuries.
2. Play hard, no let up even with Xavier.
3. Win and have fun.

If the Doctors/Trainers say she's good to go, I'd think she'd want to get the most out of her last year. Gotta throw caution to the wind if you're gonna do something grand.

Just get her to agree “no more diving on floor”- have her and Azzi sign paper stating this

Since Paige is out I will participate.

1. I would like to see the big lineup with Sarah, Jana and Ice on the floor with Azzi and KK
2. One of the youngsters to step up and have a big game on the scoring end. Defense has already been solid.
3. Work the low post for scoring and to set up open threes

As for me, with Geno saying "she [PB] should be back in a week" means participating in practice, then seeing how the knee reacts the next day before getting into game competition. I am optimistically looking at this "time off" for Paige as a positive opportunity for the youngsters to get more game time to gel into their roles, and step up in confidence in executing what each of them do best!

Just like Geno said to Nike as she was joining the W: "They drafted you for a reason! Just do what you do BEST!"

One practice without the knee "blowing up," or greater than normal level of pain will be all that 'Doctor' PB will need after being cleared by the actual Dr.'s to "drop the clipboard' & jump into actual competition - even with limited minutes as a precautionary measure. Paige's mental toughness is off the charts!!!

Go Huskies!!!
