Top 3 Things You Want To See Wednesday at St. John's. Game is at 7:00 p.m. on SNY.

I don't believe there have been any updates, just people wishing, hoping and praying for her return to action.
She'll know when she knows. I've had similar condition myself. Participation in relatively static activity doesn't mean much. It is when you start to fly around the court, which is Caroline's style that things can start to look blurry and you know your not ready

1. Will Aubrey or Paige play? Hoping to see good minutes from them if they do.
2. Speaking of good minutes. Every game for Jana and Ice is important. I would like to see them play well. I want them to rebound well.
3. Kaitlyn Chen. I want 10 points from her every game moving forward. Get her more shots.

1 The return of Aubrey and Paige
2 Three players with 20+ points
3. At least 2 players (or positions like KK & Kaitlyn) in addition with 10+ points

Is it me or have Ice Brady’s minutes decreased by a lot the last couple of games?

I think the most likely scenario is Paige returning at home on Sunday 1/19 versus Seton Hall. I'm sensing that Aubrey will be sometime after that, but hopefully in January.

1. Double double from Jana.

2. 90+ points.

3. Allie, Q and Morgan combine for 30+ points.

If you look at games from Boston to Oregon State. Ice was consistently playing 20-25 minutes. Since then; her minutes have tailed off a bit and she is more in the 15-22 range.

I'm pretty sure it will have more to do with overcoming the fear of getting hit in the head again. The rest is all secondary.

Yes it is. But not easy for everyone. There are quite a few posters on here who do not want Bueckers to come back quickly. They would prefer to let her stay injured and let other players get more experience.

Looks like we're not in that camp. So I'll second that.

1. Bueckers playing
2. Bueckers playing
3. Bueckers playing
Changed my mind

1. Bueckers playing
2. Bueckers playing
3. Griffin playing

It's about time now.

True, but it appears to me that it happens when Geno want to
experiment with a lineup "going small" i.e. Morgan Cheli in
the middle of defending a BIG. Of course, Ice was ill and DNP in
the last UCONN game.

My opinion on Caroline is that we are trying to get her ready to play a couple of minutes on senior night. That’s the goal.
Yes, that would be nice, a tribute to a very talented player whose career has apparently been cut short of true greatness. But she still has eligibility left either way. So my hope, if she can ever truly be ready and 100% healthy again, is that she along with Sarah lead the team next season.

1. Aubrey
2. Aubrey
3. Aubrey

I can die happy if I see one game where Paige, Azzi, Sara, Jana and AUBREY are all clicking. Can you even imagine?? That has to start someplace, and tomorrow’s game is a perfect place.

In the USC, Providence, Marquette, and Villanova games, minutes for both Ice and Jana were lower as Geno went with the smaller lineup.

@HuskyNan - Your stats don't include Points Scored and Jana's has less overall info than Ice's. Maybe these work better?

Although these do not indicate GS (games started).

1) Kaitlyn to look for shot
2) Jana double-double
3) Paige, Azzi and Sarah to score at least 15 points

Plus the usual: emphatic win and no injuries

I think you are safe for now

As we get into February and March, I’ll be surprised if Jana and Kaitlyn are starters. They’ll still get major minutes giving Shade, Paige, Ice, Azzi and Sarah a rest. Kaitlyn, Jana, and KK have roles as subs, because none of them have played well against good defensive teams and none them are known as scorers. Ice has shown me that she can take perimeter shots, and Jana not at all. Kaitlyn, while a good ballhandler, panics when double teamed and picks up her dribble way too much. Of those three, the one that could get a starting role is KK against certain teams, but even there good teams will slack off when she has the ball because she’s not a big threat to score unless it’s in the open court.
