Top 3 Things You Want To See Wednesday Against Creighton- Game is at 7:00 pm at Gampel and is on Peacock

I am thinking the problem with Jana is her footwork.
Maybe, but she is also fronting the defender to a degree that isn't allowing her to get back into rebounding position on the defensive end. Her rebounding is good but her positioning is not which might lead to foul trouble against bigger and better players. Her foot speed is more of an issue to me for what they are wanting her to do. She is not a typical big for UConn and they have difficulty adapting the play to suit players like Jana. They will need her a couple time before the end though so I hope she keeps getting minutes.

There is definitely a lot of retooling needed. She can be a really dominating player but a big problem on defense is her body fouling. She does not usually block a shot without having already gone into the other player with her body. Too easy to call.

Couldn’t agree more. Might be apples and oranges but when we had a larger framed kid in the 5 Star program, where you can’t teach height, footwork was always the problem. What I always did, I introduce the kid to a jump rope. The more time they spent, I mean hours upon hours, the better the footwork. Never saw it where it didn’t make even a slight improvement.
I like it. I don't think it's apples to oranges at all. Better balance and footwork means less body fouls because you control more where your body goes. It will also help her on the put backs. She should be making 8-10 of those.

1. Blanca healthy and 1st off the bench.
2. Jana continues with 10+ rebounds and adds 10+ points.
3. Caroline gets at least one 3

If anyone can confirm the Creighton game time on Wednesday I would appreciate it. The UCONN site states 7:00 PM start and the ESPN site has stating time listed at 6:00 PM. Thanks.

Jana - improved footwork!!!! Stop watching and reaching move your feet.
Ashlynn - stop dribbling into pressure, take the pull up jumper when the defender is off your hip!
Williams - same as Jana , improve footwork to gain better position offensively and defensively.

ESPN is now showing it as being on at 4:00 PM PT which is 7:00 PM ET.

In addition to a win and no injuries...

Sarah back and doing Sarah things.
Even more minutes and improvement from Yanna and Kelis.
Dominance from Serah and Jana.

1. Less early fouls from Kayleigh and refs actually calling when she is fouled
2. Continued intense defense.
3. All return healthy.

Ash lighting up the scoreboard
Blanca, playing if she is healthy
Watch to the game from home (I was in the Hospital for the last game)
