There were several positive developments in the Loyola game, including the debut of Blanca, but this will be against a stronger team with some scoring punch. Here are my top 3 things:

1) Revenge game for Azzi, Caroline and Ay who played during our loss to the Buckeyes in the Sweet 16 in 2023. Press them everywhere.

2) Shut down defense by our guards on the Cambridge sisters.

3) Blanca, Ash, Jana, Serah and Allie, to build on their performances against Loyola.

I know this is redundant ,But,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,( 1 ) Ashlynn finally show every one how good a 3 point shooter she is. ( 2 ) The bench score 35+ points to show we have back-up. ( 3 ) Out play and out rebound Ohio St to show UCONN is for real!!!!!!!

What I wrote about in the Game Analysis thread about improving offensive performance in half court sets:

1. Better post play and paint scoring by Serah and Jana, and more on-target entry feeds by the perimeter passers.

2. More, and more accurate, three-point shooting.

3. A lot more fouls drawn by aggressive post play and drives in traffic, followed by making the FTs at a high percentage.

The most important thing is a win., Ohio State will be a real challenge for this team. It should be a UConn win, but if UConn comes out unfocused, they will be in big trouble.
