Happy New Year. After the Providence game with a limited roster due to injuries, we now take on the Pirates who are one of the better teams in the Big East. Having seen them play live, here are my top 3 things:

1) Defend the 3 point line against their guards and especially against their center, Valenzuela, who likes to move outside to the perimeter to shoot.

2) Cut down the turnovers dramatically and don't overpass.

3) Kayleigh to stay out of foul trouble and stay on the floor.

I could name several more but one of my New Year's resolutions is to be more open to the opinions of others. So go ahead, what are yours? Enjoy the Holiday.

STAY HEALTHY!
1. Take better care of the ball with less than 10 turnovers!
2. Continue to shine in 3 point land!
3. Get KK, Ayanna, and Caroline back ASAP!

1. IF KK does not play, start K9 at point guard.
2. Less turnovers
3. Continue with the hounding defense

1. Come out of the gate strong (unlike the last 2 games)
2. Blanca has a big night (15+ pts, 5 rebounds and 3 steals)
3. Sarah Strong has less than 4 turnovers

Take care of the ball!!
Jana continue to play like a big
KK back as Headache to K9’s Heartburn

.-.
1. KK (plays)
2. K9 (Double Double)
3. Jana (another double digits scoring game, perfect from the FT line, and no more than 2 fouls)

Adjustments with KK likely being out to cut down on turnovers.
Maintain the defensive intensity
50/40/90 shooting splits (or better).

Seton Hall's biggest weakness is their bigs. Take advantage.
Cut the turnovers. A concern because Seton Hall likes to press.
40 minutes of effort without lapses.

Would love to see Jana have a great game.
Hope KK can deal with the mask.
I'm waiting for Blanca to dunk. lol.

Agree. Seton cannot match our size so they have to press. I think Kayleigh is the key tomorrow for us. Also, they have not seen the likes of Blanca ever so she should cause a lot of problems for them on both ends of the court.

Give KK a rest
Z have a breakout game
Work on team chemistry with the non starters

That is all

I really appreciate how you always list the game time and network it's being aired on. Thanks. As for the three things:
1. No further roster depletion due to practice injury.
2. More Jana.
3. Blanca dropping it in from everywhere.

I was at the Providence game (in the third row!) and I had a really good look at the team. Despite the easy win, everything just felt flat, including the numerous UConn fans who traveled to see the game. With that in mind:

1. Energy from a friendly home crowd.
2. Team focus that leads to less turnovers.
3. Hopefully KK back, but if not, someone else on the team providing that energizer bunny force.

1) As always Defense first
2) keep to's to their average of 12.5 or lower
3)get more than nation leading 24 assists

.-.
No injuries and a win +

KK back and effective.
Kayleigh rediscovering her confidence in her shot.
Bigs dominating: converting layups, rebounding on both ends, intimidating and eliminating turnovers.

1. Play to a 20 second or less clock.
2. Reduce the number of turnovers to under 12.
3. Score 90 + points

1. Get back our super human Sarah Strong and not just the mere mortal version.
2. Azzi to coninue to fill the stat sheet with steals, assists and rebounds
3. Lowe turnovers for everyone.
