Top 3 Things You Want To See Saturday Against Either Georgetown or Butler- Game is at Noon at Mohegan Sun on Peacock

That was such a great night at the Garden. Now it's the BE tourney and dial down time for the post season. Here are my top 3 things:

1) Serah and Jana playing the same way as this past Sunday.

2) Blanca to get her timing fully back.

3) Kick up the pace, turn up the volume and let's see UCONN women's basketball.

1. I want to see how Geno implements his "post season" strategy including subbing patterns, starters and bench minutes, and groupings on the floor. I believe he will tighten these things up, but not by much in the early games.
2. I want to see at least 30 minutes of quality, effective, efficient UConn offense
3. Sustained continued defense for the full 40 minutes with very few lapses

Bottom line, I want to see a really focused effort. At this time of year, it's more about fine tuning and tweaking. Really curious to see what this game looks like vs. the last few games of the regular season. Oh, and sort of obviously, Serah and Jana to continue with their high level of play.

I'm most interested in #1 but as you say, we may only get a glimmer of it on Saturday. I think you will see a lot of our bench and they will be almost splitting time with the starters. I think the strength of this team is this bench which is the best Geno has had in a long, long time, maybe ever. I say that with full knowledge of the controversy that it will engender.

A slight correction of verbiage. What I WILL see is ( 1 ) the Huskies scoring their normal 90 points. ( 2 ) the defense holding to their defense of 50 points. ( 3 ) A 3-point onslaught and high energy performance of ALL the players. GO HUSKIES!!!!!!

It took me a minute, but that's hilarious.

The early rounds of several other conference tourneys have been on Peacock. I think that's a way that the broadcasters can say "Look, we're showing every game of the women's tournament" while broadcasting men's basketball.

I would think that with 3 games in 3 days you will not have some players in the game indefinitely. But our bench can score also in bunches.
