This is the best big man we have played against all year and she does tend to change shots. So here are my top 3:

1) Smart, energetic defense from our post players.

2) Use our speed to get out in transition where she is not a factor.

3) Azzi and Ash to have solid offensive games.

There are so many other things but that's my top 3. Yours are?

1. No Joe Vaszily.
2. No Joe Vaszily.
3. No Joe Vaszily.

I am convinced that Joe’s goal in life is to blow his whistle more times each game than Earl Strom did. Earl Strom was one best and most colorful of the NBA and ABA officials going back about six decades or so. One of his trademarks was blowing his whistle three times each time he called a player for a foul. Joe only blows his whistle once for each foul or violation.he calls so he’s got a lot of calls to make each game. I’m praying to the basketball gods to assign Dee Kantner to our games instead of Joe.

1. Azzi and Paige force the action and fight thru clutching and grabbing.
A) Contain UCLA 3 BALL
B)ICE AND JANA must slow Betts with limited help and rebound. We can't give up second and third chance shots.

2. Ashlyn play with in yourself and timely 3's
A) KK and Kaitlyn their disruption on defense. We must keep Rice out of rhythm.
B) Biggest factor is Azzi. We need her aggression on offense.

3. Rebound! Rebound! Rebound!

1. Total team focus on 40 minutes of UConn BB! Run Betts constantly
2. All our "scorer's" have to hit for double digits with Paige, Sarah, Azzi, and Ashlynn leading the way
3. UConn needs a great opening period to set the tone for the rest of the 30 minutes

1) Have Geno fly in Tina Charles (or dig up old video) to give the bigs a quick tutorial on how she played Griner in 2010 (?)
2) Paige to play pissed all game
3) At least 2 of Azzi, Ash and Kaitlyn to be really on
4) (bonus) Be in a position to play all bench players a minute or two, to let them feel what that moment is like in the Final Four

1. Page stays hot
2. Azzi finds her shot early
3. Jana and/or Ice has a big game

1) Start off the game energized
2) Play strong defense — create havoc for UCLA, while limiting our own turnovers
3) Play smart, have fun, win the game!!

With Jana, Ice and Aubrey we have 15 fouls to give on Betts, use all of them if need be
As much as we work thru the post (top of the key) on offense, the ball exchanges (I hate to call them passes all of the time) need to be cleaner
Ashlyn, KK and Kaitlyn combine for 15-20 points

1) Ice to step up really body Betts and hit a few pulls up to get her out of the lane.
Just feel she has more experience than Jana
Rebound - rebound - rebound
2) Sarah or Paige not to get into foul trouble
3) KK and KChen wearing out their point Guards.

1. UConn wins
2. No overtime sessions
3. No injuries

1) Get off to a stronger start
2) Paige, Azzi and Sarah all playing equally well throughout the game
3) Aubrey playing some meaningful minutes

( 1 ) I want Ashlynn to shoot 3's like she did in Iowa St game. Show that was no fkuke. ( 2 ) I want Paige to score 40+ points. ( 3 ) I want our defense to shut UCLA down. Disrupt their game. GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This will be an interesting game for sure. Jana needs to play solid defense and make Betts shoot over her and make it a point to not let he get too low. Betts alone though isn't enough to beat UConn so it will come down to the perimeter defense and rebounding. Here is what I think matters.

1. KK needs to be on her game when she is on the floor and make life miserable for anyone handling the ball for UCLA
2. Azzi, Sarah and Paige need to do what they do and get just a little help from KC and Ash.
3. Play fast and make Betts run, run, run.

Our post players Jana and Ice has to be with Betts all the time and play smart , I know Betts is stronger and taller . Sarah should not guard Betts to avoid any foul trouble. I like the way LSU did during the first quarter against Betts . I hope we can do the same the entire game . Dugalic is their next strong post player is good enough too .

Kaitleen and KK should have their nose against KiKi Rice , to not let their ball handling and offense rolling ..disrupt Kiki and UCLA will start to melt down .Fudd Paige and Sarah has to start rolling their offense the entire game … National championship game will be next , hoping against Texas I don’t trust the physical game of the South Carolina …

Many say no to Dee

1. Rebound. Don’t get killed on the glass.
2. Shoot well from behind the arc.
3. Force turnovers.

I think we can probably win if we do two of these things.
