Top 3 Things You Want To See At DePaul On Wednesday Night. Game is at 7:00 p.m. On SNY

So the Creighton game was another learning experience for the players and coaches. In the final analysis it was Sarah winning the first half and Paige winning the second half. Building on that game and learning from it here are my top 3 things:

1) Work patiently to get the ball on every possession for a shot to Paige or Sarah and if not to Azzi. When the other team dictates who are shooting from the outside, we are playing their game as we saw last night.

2) Paige to be Paige the entire game. If she isn't we can lose. It's that simple.

3) I know it's a broken record but both KK and KC cannot force drives and get into trouble or even if they don't force a shot or lose it, they change the offensive set. Also, they both need to pass the ball ahead in transition.

In certain ways, the Creighton game was concerning. In other ways, it showed what we need to do to get where we want to be. Do you have any things you want to see in our next game?

I don't believe that the DePaul team has the players that Creighton has, especially experience wise. UConn should play DePaul much like they played every other BE team this season.

We basically know what we are getting from Paige and Sarah every game so i'd like to see other players gaining confidence and accuracy.
1. Azzi : to shoot and hit at least 4 3 pointers.
2. KC: to hit at least 3 3 pointers.
3. Jana: a double double

1. Doug Bruno returns or is at least in the stands. I haven’t seen any updates, but they did say maybe for the Big East season.
2. A nice win.
3. Some minutes for Aubrey.

I’d like to see Geno settle into our 7 (8 max) player rotation. We need to get our core players starting to play the majority of the minutes now. Time to ramp it up for the post season, it’s go time.

Let's hit 100 again! They have played some good teams but those teams have not had trouble scoring - Texas 91, Okla 85, KState 92, MichSt 89, Creighton 92. Those rims at Wintrust are pretty soft!

Another training session with De Paul. Uconn is 25- 0 against De Paul and I see another win by 45 points. Every body eats. Scoring will be huge and a confidence builder for the players. I would like to see 3 double-doubles and 5 players in 10+ points. Not too much to ask for this team!!!! GO FRESHMEN!!!!! GO SOPHOMORES!!!!!! GO HUSKIES!!!!!

Consistency. Can't keep bouncing between games where they shoot close to 60% followed by games where they shoot 40%.
Keep the screws tight on the other team defensively.
Don't let the other team dictate the pace of the game.

1. Morgan has to at least be a small threat to score when she is in the game. Her defense is good when she is guarding someone equal to her quickness and she is a good smart player on rebounding and passing.
2. I would go with a bigger player along with Azzi, Sarah, Paige and Jana. That would allow their three big shooters to be on the 3pt line when the defense breaks down. Too many times that shot is being taken by KC and she just isn't at the level of the other three.
3. They really need to make Jana be more of contributor on offense too. She makes a couple good moves in a game but she follows them up with bad moves that get her out of position to make the shot. She needs to play more minutes and calm herself down and play in the flow.
