Top 3 Things You Want To see Against Villanova on Wednesday Night- Game is at Finneran at 7:00 p.m. on Peacock

After a rocky start against Marquette and then an eventual victory, we next travel to Villanova on Wednesday. I will be there with most of my UCONN crew for the game. The Wildcats are always tough at home so we will need to take care of the basketball, watch the fouls, and rebound the ball. Here are my top 3 things:

1) Blanca would be nice to see.

2) Post scoring from Serah and Jana. Looking for a combined 16 points.

3) Allie and Kayleigh back to double digits each.

After the Marquette game, you must have some notes. What are they?

What I would like to see is ( 1 ) Ashlynn and Allie score five 3's each. ( 2 ) Sarah, Jana and Serah get 10 rebounds each. ( 3 ) Kayleigh, KK and Ashlynn get 5 steals each. OR MORE!!!!!! GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!

2. Sarah back to being "her old self" for the complete game
3. K9 wearing shoulder pads and a football helmet

Other than Blanca, here’s my three:

I focus on her the way I used to on Carol because if she’s on the floor and improving her game, things will go well later in the season.

Also, and most importantly, the thread asks what we “want to see,” not what we hope will happen. In my mind, Jana is the canary in the coal mine. If we see her in the game more, it is a good sign.

2.Jana shooting the 15-17 shot with the confidence she had before the concussion.

Just one. Get back to having fun. Chill, relax out there. Run around, smile, throw the ball through the hoop, throw it to other players, throw it in the stands, who cares. You're playing too tight. We know some aren't feeling well. Take some time to enjoy playing the game.
