That was a great win against Tennessee! Let's relish it and then get ready for Villanova on Sunday. Here are my top 3 things :

1) A carryover of the intensity and killer instinct. We have a lingering score to settle with them also;

2) Caroline;

3) Ayanna to keep playing within herself and also to continue asserting herself athletically.

All I can say is what a great team to root for and follow.

1. Caroline
2. Give Siegrist the Morrow treatment.
3. First half focus, good lead, so we can do some substantial subbing in the second half.

First of all, Caroline in the game. Second, better rebounding. Third , Score more points than you did against TENN.

1. Caroline
2. Ayanna
3. Dorka back up to full speed. Her mobility seemed a bit limited on defense in the Tennessee game.

No post Tennessee game let down
Another 50/40/80 offensive showing with less than 15 turnovers

1. Biggest UConn crowd of the year in HARTFORD-wear PINK! Previous high was 11,170-Georgetown
2. A reminder to 'Nova that their win last year will not be repeated.....
3. Caroline (hopeful but not expected).

There was 13,804 rooting against UConn (well not all of them for sure) but I'd love to see a packed house Sunday of mostly UConn fans!

1. Villanova is a good team so we should see a great game that is well played by both teams in a UConn win.
2. I'd love to see the number of available players increase for UConn!
3. I'd really like to see the number of available players not decrease as a result of this game!

You will probably not hear any news because the AD basically stated that medical information is not be made public (paraphrasing).
However, on the purely speculation front, Caroline did travel to Knoxville with her team for yesterday's game, after not being at the previous two or three away games due to the concussion protocol. And everyone knows that the TN game atmosphere would be a bit louder than at the St. John's and Seton Hall venues.

I take it that Caroline flying with the team is a good sign and will be playing soon.

In addition to a roaring crowd reaction to the entire team for their recent wonderful play:

how about a special 'merci beaucoup Lou' chant for our big-time sharpshooter from France?

I looked up the capacity of Thompson - Boling Arena in TENNESSEE. The arena was opened
in 1987 and at the time had the largest seating capacity for BB = 24, 535. The Arena was
renovated in 2007 and now has a BB capacity of 21,678. It is 3 1/4 acres! BIG!
So, while 13, 804 is a significant crowd (and noisy!) it was hardly a full house. The
IOWA vs Creigton game (WBB) in last year's NCAA tournament was overflowing in
IOWA. The fire marshals refused a waiver to allow more fans in. I think that the
crowd that day was over 15,000 Hawkeye fans.

Caroline has been with the team the last few games.
