Top 3 Things You Want To See Against UCF On Monday

1. Hold Smith to her average of 10 or below.
2. They don’t become one of the terrible 2’s
3. Turnovers 10 or under

1. The starting 5 plays better offensively - maybe as good as the second 4 does.
2. CW stops trying dribble penetration into double/triple teams and then just throws up the ball. Pass it, someone has to be wide open.
3. Stand up to what is sure to be a very physical game, hopefully not dirty.

.-.
1. High intensity defense
2. NO loss of intensity with substitutions (if anything more)
3. All, now

1. Impose their will upon UCF (run, run, run)
2. Consistent effort through 4 quarters
3 Get through the game in good health

1.continue great defense
2. move the ball quickly with crisp passes
3.score 70+ limit UCF under 50

No change from the last few weeks...
1. Hard cuts and crisp, accurate passes
2. All-out effort every possession no matter what the score (getting all the 50/50's, pressing, disrupting, hands in the passing lanes, REBOUNDING).
3. Do 1. and 2. and you really shouldn't need a 3, but how about great shot selection.

If they are true to form, UCF will make this a rock and bottle fight and it will be difficult to make smooth hard cuts without significant contact. All passes will be through active hands. Dominating this game will require high intensity, but great focus and poise. Don't get wrapped up in "no-calls", UCF's philosophy seems to be that the refs won't call them all, so they'll set the tone early and establish a base level of "allowable" contact that favors the less talented team. If the refs come out and call it tight, UCF has no shot.

Yes, that's an adjustment she needs to make.

This team deserves respect, sure, but I'm more concerned with a team that is quick instead of one that likes to out-muscle their opponent. I don't think that anything needs to be changed from last game but always trust Geno to make the smart moves.

1. Azzi gets more shots.
2. Paige to continue to become more comfortable (more aggressive offensively).
3. Physicality and patient offense from the bigs.

1. Good basketball moves by the ball handlers.
2. Good screens.
3. More mid-range shots to increase scoring efficiency.

1. Play hard - fast on both offense and defense
2. Play smart - limit the turnovers and increase the assists
3. Win and move on - no injuries

.-.
1) Paige another step closer to being her former self.
2) Good consistent officiating.
3) A moment of silence by the announcers.......... Every other minute would be nice. ;)
