Well, I think that The ND game was very instructive as to how to beat them in the FF or NC game and what we need to improve on or fix for the rest of the season. It's all about the end game for us always anyway, so having said that here are my top 3 things:

1) A strong bounce back win with the players who are not named Paige realizing that they also have to take ownership sooner rather than later.

2) Ratcheting down on the defense by two turns of the wrench, not one. A smaller guard can never get 10 rebounds against us again.... ever.

3) Press to begin the game to get a large lead, and then let our starters rest in preparation for the next two tough games while our subs play better.

Be creative. What are yours?

Okay, back to the drawing board. Notre Dame showed Uconn what it needs to improve on. ( 1 ) drastically cut down on the fouls. ( 2 ) Reduce the turnovers. ( 3 ) Play like the team played last year , NO FEAR. Win the game.

1. Players playing like they know the meaning of consistency
and execution.
2. Paige leading the way to an "EVERYBODY EATS" fest.
3. A demonstration that many lessons are being addressed/learned
from Thursday night's struggles. We're better than that!!

1: I would like to see the nonstarters rotated one at a time into the game from the begging of the game until the game is over.

2: these kids being some of the best in the country should be able to develop chemistry regardless as to who’s on the floor at any point of the game by seasons end.

3: I fail to see the value of playing non starter in the 4th quarter with one experienced player on the floor when nothing matters.

 Yes. I know. It’ll never happen.

1. I would like to see Jana more. I am open to the idea that a starting lineup with Jana has more upside. And that maybe by the end of the season; she is in the 5. Play her more minutes in this game. We probably want to use her against Crooks and Iriafen.

2. I would like to see Geno make some choices. For example, I feel like he should already know who is ahead of who when it comes to Morgan and Q. I don’t like the idea of him just dumping them both on the court together and letting them sink. Use the one that you have decided on in the first half when the game still matters please.

3. Another decent offensive game from KK would be nice. I like to see progression and development from the young players; not regression. Notre Dame was pretty much the first positive sign I have seen from KK offensively this season.

Edit: not here. But Ashlynn shade will definitely be part of my “USC top things I want to see” message next week.

1. Morgan doesn’t fall down
2. Ash reappears
3. Jana does not put by the ball on the flr under the basket

1- Jana playing at least 15-20 minutes with the starters
2- Allie given another chance to prove how good a 3 pt shooter she is
3- Very aggressive Paige from the first quarter like she did the first few games.

  1. Assertiveness on offense
  2. Tightened defense with an emphasis on rebounding and shutting down the perimeter
  3. At least three scorers present themselves, don’t care who

1. Don't surrender more than five 3's from G-Town
2. Sarah with 22/12 stat line
3. 4th quarter filled with reserves
