Game Coverage If this is old news, I missed it: WTIC (1080) WILL be broadcasting tonight's game, starting at 6:30 with tip-off at 7:00. The broadcast will be our intro to WTIC's new color commentator, Debbie (Baer) Fiske, who replaces KaraWolters who joined the SNY broadcast team. Debbie Baer was a guard on UConn's first Final Four team. Welcome Debbie, you have big shoes to fill, but you're already family.
 
Way beyond excited for sure. We are in for a special treat this year!

A wonderful experience, and something that is unique and special about this state. It gives me great joy to be able to take my girl to see tough, strong, poised, accomplished young women and hope she can approach her own life and her own goals with the same tenacity that Geno demands his girls approach every loose ball.

My son is still a bit young to take to games, but he will be equally indoctrinated.

I'm unfortunately going to have to miss tonight's game, but I will be in Hartford on Wednesday. Cannot wait to break in the new season tix!

ur welcome. since i've never seen a game on tv live (nationally televised games of course, but not the CPTV ones), i usually find the WTIC link on my computer and also keep track via gametracker...

I'm adjusting to the changes in Husky coverage this year. I live in the CPTV service area, but SNY is only available on my cable service as part of the priciest premium package, so I've signed up for the streaming service from them. I'm a bit nervous about that, given that the very first piece of tech necessary to run their package doesn't work from their site, though thanks to scotter I was able to download it from mlb.com. But that sort of forewarns of possible dismissive attitude toward wbb fans, wouldn't be the first time from sports media.

I went to yesterday's men's exhibition and the women's team was there signing posters. Great looking team! There was a very sparse crowd (5349); about half of them students. Be interesting to see what tonight's attendance is.

IUP loaded up on Buffalo Wild Wings last night and they are ready to go! (I know that I have been ready for some new UCONN Women's BB action since April 2nd!)

I hope that the IUP girls have fun and that UCONN lives up to the high praise that we have been hearing in the preseason. Tonight's the night!
