Tonight - watch first night activities here

I don't know what is more embarrassing, the production by the A/V team, or the mid 30's emcee desperately trying to appeal to a 18-22 audience?

Just shows how good Lou was a 3-pt shooter and you can tell CD totally lost her legs on that last rack.

Isn't this the same guy who did the Drag Strip ads back in the 60's. Same delivery.

Yeah, but nice to see that she is healthy enough to try.

I was watching it until the DUNKIN came on........turned it OFF!

Gotta love it - Aubry also tried a dunk and just missed - girl has ups and moves.

Crystal was ok in the 3-point contest, but Anna was better. Meg looked good, but Molly beat her. Molly won the finals. Our secret weapon?

Meanwhile, Paige is sitting there thinking, "I sank 20 shots and LOST!"

Olivia dunked on her first attempt. Nice!

I wonder if they are going to do some mixed game action like they have done in the past?

I hope someone gets info on which recruits are there. Crystal doesn't have her legs back yet but there is plenty of time. Ono sure looks stronger to me. Aubrey is an athlete. ANNA is bigger than I thought and can shoot - a bit of form work could help. It was fun seeing how the whole group seems to be already acting like a group. That was fun.

On to the concert. Nicer that it was shorter. Too bad the rules don't let Westbrook to participate.

The updated short answer to the OP:

Paige

Nika--all the way from Croatia!

Mir

Piath

Aliyah

All of the above, from the class of 2020, have confirmed!! :)

Other possibles include Saylor and her peers from 2021. If Azzi is there, it's a really, really, really good sign.

Makurat has a very unusual shooting form with almost a scissor kick where her legs go outwards on the shot. Seems to be effective with it anyway.

Westbrook certainly was there and a part of the group - voted in the dunk contest. What could she not do? The 3 point contest?

Mir Mclean, Piath Gabriel, Nika Muhl, Aaliyah Edwards, Paige Bueckers

Westbrook may not have been up to participating in any of the events at THIS time. Just a guess. she may need more time before she's ready to go full tilt. It was good to see her out there.

Does not seem to be as good as previous years.
Keep in mind some of the previous years were production worthy enough to garner ESPN coverage. Since Stewie et al left town, things are bit more toned down. It's fine, and people need to keep in mind this is mainly an event for students which almost all of us are not, and many have not been for a long, long time.

Yeah, has the scissor kick and holds the ball in front of her. But it seems to work. Molly shoots off her shoulder. I was pleased with how Megabun looked.
