Hoping that the team did not watch the men's game last night....it may have given them bad dreams. However, I am sure we will have a good game tonight. I am thinking 76-58.

What do you think??

Louisville has looked pretty un-top-25-like in recent road games but I am sure they will play much better at home. However if UConn brings their B+ game or better, the UConn end of benchers will definitely see some minutes.

Like those numbers, but I'll go with a 20+.

Chicago, I think UConn will prevail. UL has been inconsistent this season and has 2 key players out. They would have had a hard time tonight with those 2 players and being consistent. If we bring our 'A' Game and play the way we can , we should win. Even though we are in enemy territory. GA has been quietly getting the team ready to play on the road , and getting them use to hostile crowds ( with an eye towards the NCAA's) , so Yum should be a 'tasty' test.

My only concern is making sure we have no injuries and getting the end of the bench a few minutes. I, for one, love seeing the Buck's , Engeln's , Johnson's , and Banks getting some minutes. Sort of keeps the spirit and moral up for the entire team. Not just the normal rotation of 7 or 8.

Am I reading the schedule correctly.... we can only watch the game on CBS Sports which many of us do not get? No CPTV?

I think this game is going to be close and won't be a blowout. I think its a double digit win, but won't happen until late in the 2nd half. Louisville will play their best game of the year in front of a large home crowd. Now if Bria and KML regain their shooting touch it will be a blowout.

Yes, it is on CBS Sports.

UConn has performed well this year in hostile environments against vastly superior teams to Louisville. The Cards are not especially dynamic on offense, and have struggled to score against teams with nowhere near UConn's defensive intensity. I just don't see how this is close unless UConn plays a clunker of a game, a la the last game played on CBS sports (@WVU last year).

LINDS - it IS on the usual radio station, though, if you are stuck re the tube. They do a pretty nice job of calling the game.

On Uconn's bench - I do wish Geno could get Buck especially but the others as well some minutes playing individually with four starters on the floor. When Buck, MJ, LE, and BB are in at the same time, they just have no flow at all and are not really learning anything. BB does get some of that time, but the others have not been getting that experience.

Nah, RU, Duke and many others can't score against us.
Why would Looooooville be any different?

L'ville does not play a slow type of game like RU or a Nova, IIRC. i'd expect a 30+ win but a tad higher scoring. 77-43 UCONN...

Maybe you'll want to give your nearest sports bar a try.

Louisville stays in the hunt for the first 8 minutes or so then the lead grows.

Uconn 82 - Louisville 48.

Looking at the box score, there was some seriously poor shooting for both teams but it's much more of a surprise to see the Huskies shooting this poorly. I didn't see the game but reading about it suggests that many of the shots were affected by fouls that weren't called. In any case, the numbers for Bria Hartley and KML along with Kelly were dreadful and yet the Huskies managed a ten point win on the road. I guess that says something for the team but when are the higher ups going to do something about the horrific officiating that goes on throughout women's basketball, even in the games between highly ranked teams???????? It's truly embarassing that in many crucial games the referees are more of a factor in the result than are the players, themselves!!!!!

Worst officiating in MANY years. Luckily no one was hurt. I'm just happy Geno had the nads to call them for it at halftime. For the kids, this should be a good lesson.
