Kansas will be a factor in March if Peterson stays healthy.
You mean if he and his advisors decide that he plays. If I had the the #1 pick in the draft there is no way I pick him.
Does he have a history of not playing prior to this year?

Hmmm. I don't think we jump AZ. They'll go to 4.

AZ, Uconn, Iowa St, Purdue, Florida, Nebraska, Gonzaga

Va in the top Ten would be hysterical. UF is back to being seen as a top 5-7 team in the country. I think Texas Tech, Kansas and maybe even Arkansas are good enough to be considered over a couple of those teams.
Had this right through Purdue/7. Then it goes Kansas, Nebraska, Illiinois. Then Gonzaga, Florida.

#1 Michigan #3 Duke this Saturday in DC

.-.
I do. 24-2 (UConn) is greater than 23-2 (3 teams above us) and 22-3 (Nebraska) is much greater than 19-6 (Kansas). Just going by the records of course.
Actually y don’t. If that’s what y wanted to express y are correct

1/2 price on Saturday. lol
Hope so, that's when I usually buy, but these ticket prices have spiked like I've never seen before (from neutral sites, MTEs and tournaments) - a week out, prices are usually falling

Tix were $125 (on all platforms) a couple of weeks ago

Last week, Edward Jones & Bad Boy Mowers all of a sudden were sponsors ... hotel rooms went up 2x on that day (luckily I booked months ago)

Gameday announced this Sat that they were snubbing AZ/Houston, and will be in DC, and those $125 tix turned in to $400+ now lol

And Peterson feels like playing and actually being a good teammate.
They can get to the second weekend without him if the matchups are favorable. With him they can make a final four. Of course, they can also flame out early. So can UConn with this group. I think Arizona and Michigan are unlikely to be upset before the sweet 16. Houston never seems to go out early either. Aside from that? Anything can happen this year.

I mean, they pretty much just beat Zona without him. Bidunga is becoming a star

He is a star. If they can get DP back FT and working within some symbiosis their 3 man core is potent, and Tiller is solid.

Their schedule doesn't rank with either Arizona's or ours or Duke for that matter. They've had an easier road than all 3 other teams.

While I agree they don't have the super high end games the other three have had so far:

Houston
Q1 - 7-2
Q2 - 8-0

UConn
Q1 - 6-2
Q2 - 7-0

Duke
Q1 - 10-2
Q2 - 5-0

Zona
Q1 - 9-2
Q2 - 6-0

And in Kenpom they stand at 4th. They are in the conversation with the other three, right now. Their next three are huge though @ ISU, Zona @ KU.

Houston:
OOC wins over Arkansas and Auburn.
OOC loss to Tennessee.
Wins over Texas Tech and BYU.
Loss to Texas Tech.

Compared to Arizona:
OOC wins over Florida, UConn, Auburn, UCLA & Alabama
Win over BYU.
Losses to Kansas and Texas Tech.

Arizona has better wins and a better loss.

Their fates have much to go to be determined. It’s fun to track, but a lot of key games to be played amongst the top 5-6 teams over the next two weeks that will determine seeding. We have the 1 by a hair, but that can change quick.

I heard a couple Sampson interviews this week - not a super likeable dude to be honest. And I heard some of what he did at Indiana from a friend/alum and it rivaled Pitino. He’s a bit of a scumbag at heart.

Toyloy Brown from Louisiana is really bad too on UConn and so is Victor Flores from Billings Montana.

Lmao guy is a complete clown. Texas Tech got absolutely curb stomped by Purdue. They’re a different team now, but my god. One Super Bowl type of win for St John’s and they deserve a high rank than us!

See you 2/25 in Hartford.

Did you read what I wrote? I said they were in the conversation. They are not Gonzaga.

All moot now, with Houston losing to ISU. That was one they needed to claim a spot with the other top four. Not that I am knocking them a ton for a 3 point loss at ISU. Still slides them down to fifth/sixth. Win that one and that puts them pretty solidly in 3rd, or 4th.
