Danny singled-out the Knicks as one of the few landing spots he would go to, the Knicks lineup is young, talented & full of BE kids, and there is probably not a better time than now if you want to jump ship as his legacy is cemented at UConn & the Knicks are in Win Title Now mode.

Knicks are likely looking at Johnnie Bryant as well, whose Atkinsons right hand man. He was an assistant with the Knicks then really shined last year under a different HC. Wouldn’t be surprised if this firing now was to get him before Phoenix hires him. Young up and coming coach, I could see that. Malone is Thibs 2.0, I don’t really get that hiring for the Knicks.
