Yea- they wouldn’t of fired Thibs without having a huge hire in its place- which equals Hurley- sucks- but I am a huge Knicks fan as well so could’ve been worse with him going to LA.

I've always felt that if Hurley was gonna jump to the NBA he would prefer to take over more of a re-building organization where he can wipe the slate clean and steadily build his own program over time like he has everywhere else. I'm also not sure he wants to jump into the Knicks circus where he's the leading topic on First Take every other day. Brooklyn might be a better one to watch if that opens up.

If the Knicks have a plan, its Mike Malone. With this roster, in particular the way Brunson and KAT play defense, Danny wouldn't last a season. And there is no coming back. I am more worried about the subsequent next coach. Not this one.
