If we win, most rewarding thing - whenever he talks to the team, he talks about what he thinks they can be. In November and early on, he said "I think this could be a really special group". The way they worked together, how hard they went, the special aura they had, and the team felt they could be really good. When things got out of kilter, and players didn't develop like he thought they would, there was a sense that maybe he was wrong and maybe what he thought he saw wasn't thru. Privately he hoped he didn't over estimate what he thought we had. Didn't know what to do to get some of the guys to shake the little bit of doubt. Most rewarding for Geno would be it wasn't easy for them and that they conquered something that was in their minds if UCONN is fortunate enough to win.
