I know it's early and I know we aren't anywhere near the team that we are going to be.

I'd just like to see 5 minutes where we can dominate a DII team. Just for a taste.

Did everyone else lose audio on their video feed for halftime too?

Favorite play of game so far was

yep and split screen
feed has been awful for me in 1st half

As long as Hamilton, Sam Cassel Jr. and T-Sam play at a high level we will be fine. Brimah will finish more of them as we go along.

Hamilton 9 points, 7 boards, and three assists early in the 2nd half. Game looks effortless.

Hamilton is our best and most talented player. I am concerned by the way we are playing for the second game against a D-2 team and we are only up 42-38 with 13 minutes to go and Assumption is out-rebounding us. Our bigs need to play better, Purvis needs to come off the bench for Cassel Jr.

Love, love, love Hamilton's game. That drive and dish over the top he keeps doing. Finally someone who can get the ball to the bigs for the easy flush. Who said he can't pass? Good who?

Also, the fast break....gets the rebound, immediately puts it on the floor, dribbles to half court and finds the open man. Kid can do it all. I'd say wait and see if he can keep up with D1 competition, but the kid has been playing NBA competition for some time now.

Finally getting the break going. It helps that Hamilton can grab the rebound, dribble out and the guards are filling the lanes.

Daniel Hamilton can potentially be a 6-8 PG. I mean I hope we keep him more than 1 year. By the end of the year--when Amida realizes he cant get 2 foul within 2 minutes---Boatright Cassell Hamitlon etc.. will be nasty

Need to cut down on the t/o.
Meh, it's been all Purvis (5) and Brimah (3). Nobody else has more than one.

Speaking of which, 6' freakin 7" DHam has 6 assists and zero turnovers. Wow.

Holy . Let's tone down the early judgements.

How has Facey looked in these two games?

Slightly better than Nolan. Great athlete but can't create his own shot and doesn't have an offensive game. He can finish lobs and dunks well which is a positive.

Well, that's something if he offers rim protection and a bit of finishing. Still hoping he can knockdown 18-footers on spot-ups in order to spread the court a little bit.

I suspect this team is going to play ugly basketball until mid-January.

How man PF can create their own shot?
Putbacks and short open looks are the PF musts.

Has the makings of being the best rebounder on the offensive end. He's still hesitant. Thinking too much. What I would expect after being on the bench most of last season. If he gains confidence he has game on offense.

True but he is really a tweener and not a traditional big like Nolan therefore I was comparing him to DeAndre a similar athlete. Kentan has the ability to finish underneath the basket without getting blocked all the time or losing the ball like Nolan.

Or a 6-8 power forward. This guy alone is going to be worth the price of admission this year. (see him while you can)

Our best offense might end up being Cassell at the 2, Tsam as the point forward, Hamilton at the 4. Four ball handlers on the court creating havoc.

Purvis is going to be great. He has the motor and the skill but just needs to shake the nerves and get used to in-game situations again. I'm not worried about him. Brimah will have his games (Southern) and his not so good games (Assumption). Facey needs more confidence. CassellJr has been pleasantly surprising. Especially his shooting. He is this team's Rashad Anderson and Niels Giffey. Hamilton is great. He's a pro. I like this team's potential. Saw a lot of improvements this game from last game.

Went to the game on 2 hours sleep. Did nothing to cure fatigue. Too many whistles, could not get game flowing.
Hamilton is a stud could have had a triple double if front line could finish bunnies. By far the most impressive player on the floor. He's going to be real special. Does it all. His outlet passes were incredible.

Frontline a major work in progress. Brimah 2 fouls in the first 150 seconds. Facey, Nolan, lubin.... None impressing yet.

Cassel was so solid. Like him a lot.
