TN/Baylor game today......

This should be an interesting game today! The game being played in Summitville,
TN having lost to VA last week,and Pat's condition<impact on the fans and their players> may make this game a hell of a game to watch! Do not be surprised if TN
wins this game. Baylor has an excellent team,deserving of the #1 ranking and Griner*** and Sims make them the favorite,but the intangibles make this this a fascinating game. It is interesting that having played with Geno this summer makes Griner an even better player.But this may be the talk of sports and news in a few hours!!
Interesting side note is that if TN wins we will be #1 in the rankings on Mon. Although,we would be #1,I would prefer that we are not #1 right now. We have alot of work to be done. Since we have no control over this game,I would be happy with a Baylor win,but I will not be surprised with a TN win.

Tennessee is getting excellent play from Simmons and especially Stricklen so far. However, Baylor leads 19-16, and I think Tennessee is playing about as well as it can, and Baylor isn't.

Simmons showed some good energy early, but her shot is not falling. Massengale has been a goose egg in this game too. Striklen has kept Tenn in this game.

Tennessee leading 33-31 in the first half. Tenn's zone has been effective in terms of making Griner work hard, and no one other than Sims has really stepped up for Baylor. However, if Striklen cools off, Tenn could be in trouble.

Great half by Stricklen and the rest of the Tenn basketball team. With how tough they are playing they got a great chance at the upset. Who knows Baylor's run at an undefeated season could end today.

I did notice during the timeout huddles that Holly Warlick has been doing much of the coaching with Pat in the background.

WOW really an intense game. The intangibles,Strickland,have TN up by 2 at the half. The longer this goes on like this,the more the crowd,TN's intensity can become factors. Baylor has to really pick up their play to match TN! Even with all of this until the last 3 mins,Baylor had taken over,but TN took over to come back and now lead!
Baylor has to box out and pick up their game. Come on Baylor.
Can TN keep this up for last 20 mins?
