Tickets for 2027 Final Four

yeah I saw that too - brutal. Tried to look for hilton hotels in the Detroit area and all sold out around 2027 FF dates already.

I'll leave the discussion of why there are two NCAA final fours in the same region back to back for people who actually know what they're talking about.

But it sounds like a load of home cookin' to me.

Where is the NCAA headquarters again? I love the comedian Brad Upton. A bit off topic, but ...

Yes.

I'd do it if it was in a better location than Detroit.

Yes time was the NCAA did this - refund of money less their take if not tix. Now it’s ticketmaster.

Probably because hotels are easy to cancel for free up until 24 hours of the booking. If you have any thoughts of going, you should book a hotel.

I wouldn’t ever buy tickets for the final four ahead of time. I ended up paying $500 per ticket for the final four this year, but paid $200 for lower level seats in 2023. Seems stupid to pay $400 a year ahead when there is a good chance I’d end up needing to sell them and take like a 15% Stubhub fee lol as well. I’d rather just buy tickets when I know my team is in it, even if I might have to pay a little extra.

Maybe it might make sense to sell tickets at the beginning of the tournament before big top seeds are out because I think tickets are elevated ahead of time…

Don't bother....if you waited to get IN for THIS final 4 it was $350 each and that was with a HUGE ILL contingent that was local buying up 60% of seats on the secondary market. Had ILL Not been there it would have been much less, probably 200-250. The final without ILL was like $50 get in price and lowers sold for 100-200 a few hours before game time. If you pay "face" price from NCAA at this time (400 each for nosebleeds), your a sucker. Don't do it. Buy late, buy secondary. simple. My ted talk. LOL.

Is this really how it works? You have to pay Ticketmaster now for a chance to buy tickets. if you're not selected you get your money back -$25. They hold your money until November 2026?

Yep.

Is it right? No.

Compare that to how the Masters does it and it looks even worse.

Even if you overlook them using your money for free for months and months, the $25 non-refundable application fee is just galling.

Las Vegas, Arlington (Dallas), New Orleans, Detroit, Indianapolis, Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, Glendale (Arizona), and Minneapolis.

There are only so many cities where you can play basketball in a football stadium.

I was at the 2009 FF - it SUCKED BALLS!!! Avoid please. Thank God the 2024 FF broke the curse of me attending one.

With the right pieces - UConn could return. Problem is Michigan could too ... and in backyard ... ugh

I was gonna start a thread but may as well just drop it here:

The AD absolutely has to do better with policing school-issued tickets to these games. We have diehard fans here scrambling to get seats in our section, calling in favors, paying way over face value just to get in, and yet somehow large portions of our “allotment” are going straight to opposition fans so some ass can make a few bucks on comped or discounted tickets.

It’s not that hard to police. The school goes through extreme pains to assign seats, thus why it takes so long to get tickets issued when paid through the school. Snap a photo of the section, cross reference the seat assignment, ban the person from future ticket buy windows. I had to sit next to and in front of Michigan fans in one of the only UConn sections yesterday. It’s pathetic

Hope we make it when it's in New Orleans.

Arlington, Houston and Glendale suck.

with all due respect- this is the USA and now with NIL money talks. College sports is BIG BUSINESS. Full stop. The AD isn't going to ban people donating thousands to the school just because they sell seats. Never going to happen. Your biggest issue isn't the athletic departments it is the NCAA selling to a company called On Location Services. Its a full on brokerage company and they sell close to 50% of the seats to them through consignment. The GOOD part in all this, is that there are TONS on the secondary market or as I like to call it "the free and open market" meaning 75% of the time if your smart, you'll pay much much less to attend the Final 4 than the actual cost ($400 each) of the final 4.

Yes - Texas is a dirt hole and I’m from Cleveland! But I did enjoy Glendale … I had no issues but again that was a very confident time 😂

Vegas is Vegas - a good time … but yes Orleans!!! Here’s to ‘28 and ‘30!
