I may have missed this answer in past but was curious if there is a site I can look at to see where we stand in sales. Hoping to have school travel well and impress conferences.

I work with many Tar Holes in Raleigh. Can't wait to win !!

Any way to check counts Anyone?????

I believe I saw some UConn administrator (can't remember if it was Benedict or Chris Grosse), but mention on Twitter that they had to add additional seats to our allotment because of demand. Likely not the specific answer you were looking for, but I do believe ticket sales are going very well. Should be good to see on the 28th!

Nobody cares about that stuff anymore.

The first two Fenway Bowls attendance:

2023: SMU vs BC 16,238
2022: Cincinnati vs Louisville ~15,000

Hopefully, UConn/UNC can get 20k+
Sorry, that's really funny. They get 15k the first year from two far away teams, they get BC to come to a local game, and it increases attendance by a whopping 1000 fans. Yes, absolutely want to see this year blow past that number.

Whatever benefit there was to BC being local was more than offset by the general lack of SMU fans.

There will be hordes of UNC fans and beat bloggers/writers etc., sizing up the talent in anticipation of the Belichick/ Lombardi takeover. Does Bill stop by?

Since we only have to break 16k in ticket sales, seems like an easy task with just UConn fans alone. If we can get 37k for NC State last year, we can’t get 30k only an hour an a half away for a bowl game?! Let’s takeover Boston and PACK Fenway!!!

It was a was a chilly, windy, rainy / miserable day last year. Gotta think that impacted locals and/or BC fans who may have come out if the weather was better.

Seemed like a lot of clicks were necessary to find the exact ticket donation link. It's there. Just wish it were easier for the "casual" fans.

From Dom Amore @ Courant today:

-> There was some wheeling and dealing among conferences and bowls to put UConn in The Fens. The American Conference is a primary partner for the Fenway Bowl, but league champ Army was tied to the Independence Bowl. Other conference teams preferred closer, warmer options. For instance, many had UConn going to Tampa to play Florida, but Tulane, the AAC runner up, went there.

So the American was agreeable to Fenway folk inviting a viable New England independent, and it’s paying off. Tickets sales, as of Friday, were said to be nearing 18,000, already exceeding the previous Fenway Bowls, played in 2022, when Louisville and Cincinnati drew 15,000, and ’23, when BC and SMU drew 16,200. <-

There will be no UNC fans. Go to their boards…you’d never know they were in a bowl.

I actually think Army didn’t get the Independence because of an AAC deal. They got it because Army, Navy and Air Force have deals for a couple of these “patriotic” bowls. Actually the Independence Bowl has been around along time.

Correct. Army had a separate bowl deal with the Independence Bowl for this year that they were able to keep while joining the AAC this year.
