The Big 10 with two unexpected wins so far tonight: Ohio State over North Carolina, and Purdue over #21 Miami.
 
#13 NC State finishes the game on 30-15 run to take a 66-55 victory over Michigan. Wolfpack Women now 7-0 on the year; Michigan falls to 5-2. This was my first time seeing NC State play this season...and I am excited. After a rocky first half, the ladies looked much better in the second half. They have lots of solid pieces this season...and I was very impressed with freshman big Elissa Cunane; she is going to have a fantastic career in the Red and White if she can stay healthy.

There was an interesting call in this game I had never seen before. Hillman for Michigan fouled out with NC State leading 58-53...and then Michigan was charged with a Technical Foul for not getting their sub into the game on time. NC State remained comfortably ahead the rest of the way.

I didn't know there was a time limit on how long one team could take to get a sub in after one of their players fouled out.
 
In the battle of the cats.... the Panthers are up on the Mildcats 29-23 late in the 3rd quarter. The Mildcats are shooting 9-38 :eek:
 
If someone would have bet me my dinner tonight that it would be Pitt that clinched the Challenge for the ACC.... I would have gone to bed hungry :eek:

Ha, I knew Pitt was tough when they managed to stay close in their loss to UCF.
 
Pitt seems to be very inconsistent. They did beat Arkansas too, so Arkansas and Northwestern are too solid wins. But they also lost to ... Youngstown State. Also just lost their best player last weekend.
 
Typical Maryland. They just can't seem to play an entire game with consistency.

Help me, I am dizzy and my sight is blurry-I think I am reading a compliment from a Duke fan to a Tar Heel...quick, get me a shot of Tequila, or Jameson...

Did you see the game or is it just conjecture? I have been surprised at how well NC had been playing...much to my dismay....

I didn't see any of it.

I might go to the game when tOSU visits UW, I think the weekend following this one. Will be interesting to see what kind of welcome McGuff gets for his return to Montlake.

HOLY crap! I told you my eyes were bad, I thought I saw that NC beat tOSU so that’s why I was surprised at Triad. So first, my apologies to Tria Andrew second my thanks to you for clarifying my bonehead error!
 
I believe this makes the series over the years now
