More will come out about this. Women's volleyball team complained about unfair off campus housing rules and AD was looking for a change before last seasons run. Chance the punishment was self-imposed from school, not NCAA.

It was the absolute dumbest story to glom on to.

The NCAA does not suspend kids - the schools do. And if the benefits were really $70 or $100 or whatever the lawyer claimed, the immediate path to reinstatement is writing a check for $70 or $100.

But, of course, there is much more to the story…
